Menaya Fenerie District 4

Menaya is tall for her age, and extremely skinny! In fact, she is so skinny that even a seven year old can pick her up, which makes her very vulnerable in fights.

Her eyes are big and light green. She hates her nose though, because it is really small! Her hair is shoulder length, and chestnut in color.

Menaya's lips are thin and small, since her eyes take up all the space. She has really short fingernails because she has a habit to chew on them.

A big fault in her cute appearance are her ears. They stick out like horns! That is how she got her "immature" ( in her opinion) nickname, Fanghead.

Her usual outfit is a short black layered skirt and a white tank top. She wears long knee-high black and white striped socks. Her black sandals are the only shoes she wears.

In all Menaya resembles a mouse with her big eyes and thin body. But her personality is another matter!

Unlike her mousy body, her traits are those of a fierce lion. She is always a step ahead of everyone. Her intelligence is surprising and so is her temper. Even though she might seem weak, when her stubborn streak starts to show, there is no beating her in an argument.

Her bravery can also turn into foolishness. For example, if there was a fire she would save the people which is brave. But then she would continue to save objects like books or shoes, which is foolish. If things get too scary, she has panic-attacks.

Menaya thinks fair. No matter in what situation. She is hot-headed too. No one wants to see her angry.

Menaya is actually very silly, and many people want to be her friends (including boys), though she shrugs them all off. She is perfectly satisfied with her best-and only- friend Salamanca.

As I said before, she is very intelligent, which causes lots of jealousy to shine her way. She is cute, smart, and funny! But the popular girls have forgotten one important fact. Menaya is SMARTER than them. So when they think of a mean prank, she can always prevent it from succeeding!

She becomes unusually sweet to the people close to her. When she first meets someone, she "scans" them and decides how she will act around them. Snobby? Girly? It doesn't matter. Menaya thinks her instincts are always correct.

Menaya's parents fell in love at age twelve. By age sixteen, Menaya's mother was pregnant and Menaya was born. When Menaya was two, her mother were eighteen and her mother got chosen for the Hunger Games! She did not return.

Her father fell into depression, and when Menaya was six he died in an fishing boat accident ( the boat flipped upside down).

Menaya's neighbor Mrs.Burch adopted Menaya. Mrs.Burch doesn't really take care of Menaya. All she offers her is shelter and clothing. Poor six year old Menaya has to fish for most of her food. Luckily, she is a great fisher!

Menaya lived with Mrs.Burch till she was ten, but the Mrs.Burch died of unknown causes. Menaya does not leave her home. She lived alone.

Her usual routine of the day was this:
8:00-8:15 wake up/ get dressed
8:15-9:30 fishing
9:30-10:00 selling 3/4 of fish
10:00-? go home and cook fish over fire
?-1:30 help neighbors with chores (for money)
1-30-5:00 free time
5:00- ? eat snack
?-7:00 help in seafood parlor (for money)
7:00-? go home and cook fish over fire
?-8:00 tomorrow (repeat list)

With help from her BFF Salamanca, Menaya made it to her 11th birthday and then got adopted by Mrs. and Mr.Telloman, Salamanca's parents. There she has lived ever since and hopes to live there for the rest of her life, IF the Hunger Games don't get in the way!

Menaya has a strange obsession with the Hunger Games.
