Personality:
Regina used to be known only for her short size (she stands at five foot four) before her accident, when she was forced to have her lower left arm amputated just below the elbow. Now she often attracts rude stares to what is left of her limb. Regina has long, light, wavy blonde hair that tends to misbehave a lot. She has a heart-shaped face and creamy, ivory skin. Her wide, grey eyes are her most stunning feature, which sit above her small nose and mouth. Regina has generally straight, white teeth, but there is a small gap between her two upper front teeth, which she hates.
Regina dresses in a casual but girly style, usually sticking to her usual plain shirt and jean jacket with an old pair of jeans and a pair of simple canvas shoes with rubber soles. She manages to keep herself clean for the most part, but there are grease and oil stains all over her clothes from working in the hangars. Sometimes, Regina gives up and pulls her hair into a messy ponytail with a rubber band. Regina is slender but a bit stronger than most girls her age in her upper body. There’s nothing remarkable about Regina’s appearance, and she doesn’t act like it, either.
Regina is often categorized as the quiet girl. She used to be more confident before her accident, but after the amputation, she tends to stick to herself and try not to get in others’ way. Regina is a somewhat of a loner because of the bullies that harass her daily because of her arm. Instead, she finds a place to hide and sketch in her sketchbook. She enjoys drawing in solitude and usually sketches people when she isn’t working.History:
Regina is easily frustrated with just about everything, especially her handicap. She refuses to show much emotion, because when she was younger, crying would get her in trouble with her drunken father. Now she is as close to a stone as possible in terms of feelings. Regina is, however, very kind and caring and helps out whenever she can despite her frustration with life. She especially does her best to take care of her twin little sisters and mother.
Regina likes heights. She finds relief up in the rafters of the hovercraft hangars and in the few trees that are near her home. Somehow, it takes her away from the world and her troubles, away from the people that hate her and the problems she must face every day. Regina is only in search of one thing: an escape.
Regina was born in the year of the 44th Hunger Games. She was born to her parents Vincent and Alejandra Frisk. As a child, Regina loved the arts and crafts, and spent her time coloring and drawing instead of playing with the other children. This was only partially due to her enjoyment of solitude; Vincent was a bad drunk and took out his anger on his wife and only child when the family ran out of alcohol, so Regina couldn’t go out and raise suspicion with her bruises. When Regina was ten, her twin sisters were born, Becka and Juli.Codeword: oDair
Regina excelled in school, and when she was twelve, she started working in one of the hangars with simple maintenance on the huge hovercrafts made for the Capitol. She worked her way up, providing for her family, while her mother worked in the clerical office of the same hangar. Regina’s family stayed in a steady middle class situation, despite her father spending much of the money on alcohol. Her life was balanced out for the most part.
When Regina was sixteen, the accident happened. She was working on some gears for the engine of a hovercraft. As she reached in to retrieve a dropped tool, a circuit blipped and the machine turned on, entangling Regina’s arm with it. There was hardly anything left of her limb, so it was amputated and could not be saved. Regina became depressed after the accident, not coping well with the new changes in her life. Since she couldn’t work, almost half of the income was gone like that.
Regina’s family suffered harshly. She began signing up for tesserae by force, for there simply wasn’t enough money for food. Almost all of the money was spent on alcohol for Vincent. However, Regina has just started to work again, starting with little cleaning jobs around a new hangar. This is starting to bring in a little more money, and there may still be hope for Regina’s family.
