Character: Amadeus Stroud, District 6 (Finished!)

Name: Amadeus Stroud, or just "Stroud"
Age: 12
Gender: Male
District: 6
Appearence: Amadeus is 5'3 and 120 pounds. He is at that awkward almost teenager stage when his legs are too short, his hands are too big, and he resembles little more than a toothpick. Those who do not know him would presume him to be around 10. He appears to be a small kid, but everyone says he'll get his growth spurt soon enough. His skin is the colour of milk, and he's got a bunch of freckles on his face and arms.
Amadeus has a big head, literally. His curly orange red hair does not help much either, as it poofs into a miniature afro. He has a small straight nose, big ears that easily hide under his hair, and thin lips. He has dark shadows under his eyes, which are teardrop shaped and dark beer bottle green, and he has very long lashes for a boy.
Amadeus doesn't care about clothes, really. Pants and a sweater or cardigan will do, but his mother believes in different things. She buys all of his clothes, and constantly asks him to change things up, but Amadeus is determined to wear a pair of pants with a long sleeved sweater and sneakers every day. The only time he dresses up is for Reaping Day or a Funeral.
Personality: Amadeus's biggest personality trait is quiet. It isn't like he's an unfriendly person, he just doesn't talk alot. Even the way he walks is quiet; you wouldn't be able to hear him come or go unless he is talking to you. Once you get to know him pretty well, he will usually refrain from speaking unless he is spoken to. Then again, when he does say something, it is because he thinks it is important and generally has a point. His silence also means that you could reveal anything to him and wouldn't tell a soul.
Just because he's quiet doesn't mean that big head of his is empty. No, Amadeus is a thinker, taking in his surroundings and analyzing them. He likes to figure things out, especially puzzles. He reads alot, and because of that people think that he's a smart kid. He's smart, but not a genius; he just notices things that people often look over. And he has a memory like an elephant; once something gets in that head, it is there for good.
Now while Amadeus is quiet and thoughtful, he has quite a michevious streak. He doesn't like pulling pranks; he likes planning them and watching people's reactions. His tricks are rarely from malice, and he doesn't mean harm; he just enjoys watching the show. The funny thing for him is that no one expects that it's his doing, because who could blame such an ordinary and helpless looking kid like him?
Morally, he is generally a good person. He wouldn't hurt someone for pleasure or revenge, and he is reliable in the way that he will help a person out if he can. But at the end of the day, if it's a choice between him and someone else getting in trouble, he'll be letting you take the fall. Amadeus wants to become Panem's top Chemist-Physicist after all, and he will do anything to maintain that dream.
History: Amadeus parents are Morghen and Derek Stroud. Morghen is a nurse at the District's largest hospital, and Derek is a geneticist well known for his research on Muttations, and works part time assisting the Capitol. Amadeus has three siblings; his older brothers Johannes (18) and Antonio (25; works as an artitect), and his younger brother Claude (10). The family is upper middle class, but there were a few years when Amadeus was a kid that Antonio and Johannes had to get tesserae to manage.
Since he was little, Amadeus has always been a quiet kid. When he was younger a few kids thought he was strange because he wasn't the type to run all over the playground at recess (Plus the fact that he could appear behind you like that and disappear as silently/ quickly). He was that kid that wasn't last to be picked, but in the bottom 3. Teachers liked him because he always did his work, but it was a little lonely for him.
Then when he was 9, he accidently spilt some juice on the floor, and when the teacher flew off her feet with her 9 inch heels, watching his classmates bend over with laughter, he knew he had found his niche. Soon he was planning elaborate stunts, his greatest trick being when school was cancelled after being mysteriously buried in snow in May (Only the building was covered in the 7 foot pile, and no one knows how he ever did it).
After that, he cut back on his jokes, but still pulls a few stunts once in a while just for fun. Now he is more focussed on his studies, and trying to stay alive. This will be his first year in the Hunger Games, and he just hopes that Johannes doesn't get picked (As it will be his brother's last).
