Caleb Lockes, District 6 (finished)

Caleb is about 6’5”, rather tall, muscular, broad shoulders. Medium built strong legs, Good muscled arms. Medium length, brown hair, blue eyes, and a scar on the left-side of his back (from an accident in the factories not too long ago). He usually has a bigger physical stature than any of his friends. He weighs in at about 170 pounds and a few small burns from elecrical shocks. he also has a weaker left arm from having it broken when crushed in an accident at the factories.

Caleb also does much heavy lifting while working in the factories. This gives him a bit of a physical edge over the other
tributes. However, he being so tall gives him a flaw in not being the best hider. he was also lucky to know a very intelligent man in district 6 who has taught him everything he knows, making him very cunning and smart. He loves to swim, which has given him plenty of time in the sun and a moderate tan.

Caleb is a very thoughtful young man. He is one to give care for others, and being a very self-confident and loving individual. But at the same time, when it comes to survival instincts, Caleb is a natural. He’s run away before, and had his own experiences. However, he prefers to use words instead of actions. That's not to say however, that he hasn't been in plenty of fights before.

Caleb also has a very intimidating bad side. He is very caring for others, but if you hurt him, or others close to him, then it would be best to back off. He can really hurt you when he is angry, so be careful about what, or who, you talk about around him. But this is because sometimes he is a bit of a softy. This is another small weakness which is he is easy to set off. He is also easy to convince him to trust you. But you have to be a pretty good liar because he isn't even close to stupid.

Caleb can also be the flirty type. When he isn't working, he's usually hunting for girls. He knows how to approach them too. He has the skills to bring in the girls, and possibly some sponsors. which could really help him if any medicine or food might be needed in the arena.

As I said before, Caleb's Parents split when he was about 8. He now has to care for his little brother, Charlie (10 years old), as his father (Mike Lockes)
is too busy working out of district on the rail lines. Caleb's father is one of the most caring fathers a son could hope for. He would spend more time with his kids but has to work to support them.

During his childhood, Caleb spent most of his time studying. He attends a school like most children, but he also had an after-school study guide. A mentor, for loss of a better word. This man has taught him many things, including many medical techniques that could prove very handy in the arena. His knowledge, and his fathers recommendation, has got him a great, good paying job that helps him support his family.

Caleb supports his family by working on the hovercrafts built in district 6. He is very good with wiring; he helps with the electrical stuff usually and thus is pretty good with his rope work and trap-making skills. He knows good hand-to-hand combat skills too, because the yards can get pretty rough sometimes. Not to mention, great with knives, he has to do a lot of cutting when working on the hovercrafts. Him and some other work buddies also like to play a javelin throwing game, making him a pretty good spear thrower.
