Madeline Winters ~District 4~

Appearance:

The first thing someone would notice about Madeline, is her hair. Madeline has nice wavy hair that cups a small face. Her hair comes to the middle of her back. She loves to wash it, so it is very soft, though she does straighten and curl her hair sometimes.

Madeline is of average build but is quite short. She isn't tanned, she isn't pale. Madi has long legs and a small torso that has a birth mark of 'clover'. The birthmark is just under her right breast.

Although bright sea green eyes stand out against her hair, it wouldn't be the second thing you'd notice. Madeline lives to wear jewelry and make-up. Not the girly stuff but always dark make-up and nail-polish. Wristbands, charms, friendship type of styles of bracelets are more Madeline's style of jewelry. Madeline has earrings but one extra one on her right ear and a piercing on her belly button. Madi does also wear a blue pendant all the time.

Personality:

There is someting about Madeline that strikes others as 'weird'. The way she would never go fishing with her dad, or never have sea food. The truth is Madeline hates the ocean. No seafood for her. No fishing. No ocean swimming. But you might think that she has to because she lives in District 4. Well no one knows accept her real parents. Madi is jut different like that.

Madeline is very hard to live with though. She is constantly breaking something, as she is very clumsy! She is very messy to. Her bedroom door is always closed because of this. Her foster parents Mel and Andy can't stand it. Paper and rubbish all over the floor. Clothes dumped anywhere. Food scraps on her work bench. Make-up and jewelry scattered everywhere on the dressing table. You get the picture.

Beside being quiet an closed up most of the time at home, Madeline is actually quite social and opening around others. She is quite popular at school, but at school work she is not the best. She hates it and school work hates her. Madi is a slacker basically.

Madeline loves the outdoors. She does enjoy a nice walk on the beach even with her phobia. Her parents died on a beach that's why. Madi has scars all over her though from climbing trees. Loving to climb trees and clumsiness doesn't really work. She has broken several bones from falling out of trees.

History:

Madeline's life is a bit difficult. So to explain her, her history is essential.

Madeline was born into loving parents Mira and John. From the time she was born Madi wa not herself now. Except for the clumsy and messy bit, Madeline was flipped around. She lived water. She would have never got a peircing on her ear and belly button. She wasn't so closed up at home. But when Madeline was 8 years old, Madeline and her parents went for a swim. Now doesn't sound so bad, but both Mira and John died when a massive wave crushed them both. This started her phobia.

Soon after he death, orphaned Madeline was put into a foster home. Mel and Andy knew about the death of het parents but as loving and caring as they were, Mel nor Andy could change her sad ways. They tried giving her what shr wanted but nothing would work. After he turned 11, Mel and Andy had made no progress so they decided to leave it. They still love her of course.

Madeline has heaps of memories of her parents, but this just isn't enough to change her. Madi is popular at school though, so to pull this off she be turns into the real Madeline. The Madeline she would be if she wasn't so closed up. Madi just can't put herself to be the real Madeline all the time. But she really likes the real Madeline. Only deep down.
