Faylen Foret (District 4)

Faylen is very small in size. Her chocolate brown hair falls straight down her upper back, while she has rich dark brown eyes. Faylen is Caucasian. Her lips are a slight pink and cracked from dryness. Faylen has a indented line/scar on the nape of her neck, from when she was little. Faylen's hair is often very dry, with spilt ends and cracked hairs.

Faylen doesn't like to show off with her clothing style, blacks and dark browns and greens are common in her wardrobe. Her most common outfit is black leggings and a green loose t shirt. Faylen does not like to wear shoes, socks seems to be her way of getting around. Faylen doesn't like to keep track of her hair, so often, 'marie' will convince Faylen to cut it. Faylen also is also very pale, no tan. She doesn't tan at all in fact! she sunburns really easily and painfully. Faylen has a mole on her right arm, she often gets teased because of the hair growing from it, she also has a dark spot on the base of her neck and chest.

Faylen has schizophrenia, a light case of it, but the voices in her head seem to keep her alive.. but do bad things to her, because of this, Faylen isn't a big talker. She's very polite, and caring, but very detached from the world. When some of the other kids preferred playing outside, she preferred to stay indoors and read. Faylen is often bullied at school, for being so quiet, and is often called insane. She's called Insane so much, Faylen often thinks she's actually insane.

Though her parents are huge Hunger Games fans, Faylen hates them. She was to scared to watch them when she was younger, and at her current age, she prefers not to hear a word about them. When Faylen does like to go outside, she likes to walk around the District town centre. She wants to grow up and work in a store, like her mother. Faylen is often interested in the Capitol. She wants to go there so badly, she will try to dress like the capitol citizens.

When Faylen is with friends, she tends to be awkward and unsure of what she should say next. Failen's attitude would most likely not last in the Hunger games. Failen calls her 'mind friend' Marie. Faylen doesnt' like to talk about the hunger games, as it only reminds her of how much her parents anger of her 'mind'. Faylen likes to day dream, letting her eyes wander far ahead of her. Faylen does not like pain, or being hurt. She passes out at the sight of blood.

Faylen Marie Foret was born on June 1st, in her home of District 4. She was born on her mother's bed, with her father and mother lovingly taken her into their arms. Faylen was a happy baby, loving to lay in the sun with her mother, and be with her father. Faylen's mother and father noticed something different about her when Faylen began to stare off in the distance and giggle, or coo to her self as if replying to someone. When Faylen was old enough to talk, she began to talk to her self more often than that of a normal child. When they took her to the District Doctors, they diagnosed her to have Schizophrenia at the age of 5. Faylen's parents were devastated, knowing that if she ever got reaped, she would be the laughing stock of Panem, and would die almost immediately. Faylen loved to play in the water, something her father (a fisherman who was proud of Faylen) loved in her. 'marie' often would try to give Faylen pointers.

'No Fayeln, hold your net out like this' her father would say. Faylen would shake her head.
'Marie told me to hold it like this'.

Faylen didn't do well in school as she grew up. 'marie' Often tried to get Faylen to cheat, or lie to her district teachers. Faylen knew that she would get in trouble, so she never told anyone. Faylen tended to keep her thoughts about Marie a secret unless it didn't get her in trouble.
When Faylen turned 10, Her parents wanted her to take medicine to get rid of 'Marie', Marie told Faylen that she would be alone, and Faylen began to run away from home. Faylen would spend time on the docks. She didn't like to be alone, and she knew Marie wasn't real. She knew Marie was just a voice in her head, but she longed for a big brother or someone she could spend time with.

Faylen continues to spend time at the docks, wanting to be a cook when she grew older. Marie often encourages Faylen to volunteer for the hunger games, leading her to do dangerous tasks. Faylen would often talk to herself, or marie. Answer questions out of thin air. Faylen likes to climb what little trees lie in District 4, and she is terrified of the hunger games. She's always wanted big brother, someone to protect and care for her. Since her parents are hunger games fans, she has always had the feeling that her parents want her dead,because she's different.
