- Terynn Gevine Reyna
- 15 years of age
- District 5
There's nothing special about the looks of Tarynn, almost every attribute of her appearance completely plain. She stands an average 5' 5" and has the appropriate, average weight of 105 lbs. She has a very small frame, being naturally skinny in a healthy manner.
Tarynn's face is very rounded, and her cheeks always have a pinkish tone to them. She possesses soft, teal eyes that always look quite bored and unentertained. Her hair is a wavy, natural golden blonde. Her facial attributes are soft instead of edgy, other than her most powerful attribute: Her lips. Others are jealous of their fullness and the unique effect they bring to her overall appearance. It gives her an extremely spunky, outgoing look.
Tarynn also has a variety of physical flaws, such as her large amount of birthmarks. They completely spot the upper portion of her arms, a huge insecurity she constantly tries to cover. She is also particularly pale and often wears open toed shoes in fear of her sometimes smelly feet. She often keeps these insecurities to herself, though, constantly coming up with excuses to hide them.
Tarynn has different personalities depending on the situation. She can bubbly and overall happy, as long as she is in the presence of enjoyable people. She is also very easily annoyed though, constantly tuning people out and using her sarcasm to her advantage. She very much prefers to keep to herself, and does not speak until spoken to.
She can be a quite spacey person, loving to tune out and daydream about what could be or her dreams and goals. She feels sometimes as if this is the only way she can achieve them in such a dictated world. She always seems to be zoned out in a way until you get to know her, with her monotone voice and lack of emotion. After her mother had left, she forces people to work for her trust. She only smiles on rare occasions, unless around her father because of her faith and bond to him. She is not necessarily shy, but more confined to herself instead of opening up and getting to know others. She often seems irritated and selfish, not listening or caring about anybody but those she can trust.
Overall, Tarynn is a natural pushover, used to following her fathers orders and orders of those she respects. Around others she doesn't respect though, she is standoffish and bold, holding her ground no matter the consequence. This gives her an almost undying mental strength and gives the impression that she is extremely stubborn. This is also often a tragic flaw though, leading herself to only take advice from an exclusive amount of people and leaving her quite closed-minded. This often keeps her from gaining friends, not being a very likable person.
Tarynn's history is quite dull, major events happening in the younger years of her life. She was born as a twin, and stayed that way until her twin brother had passed on from illness on their 4th birthday. Her mother had went into a breakdown, leaving her father to tend to her needs as her mother focused on somehow getting revenge for her son's death.
Exactly 1 year after Tarynn's twin brother's death, also Tarynn's 5th birthday, her mother was nowhere to be found. Her father had seemed unnaturally unharmed, and was never even bothered by the fact that she was missing. Every time Tarynn had asked though, he had assured her that her mother hadn't left and was still there, but in truth she had committed many crimes, such as attacking peacekeepers in her efforts to kill for revenge, blaming her misfortune on them. Since this served as rebellion, her mother was taken as an avox by the Capitol.
Tarynn learned to ignore the fact just like her father, and grew up by his side into the girl she is today. She always feels the sense that something is being kept from her, but who is she to question her father? Her past events made her strong and stubborn, almost exactly like her father. They're completely similar in every way but looks, which must of been passed down by her mother. Her trust in others around her had been completely demolished, thinking that her mother had left without a legitament reason. She believes that if not even her own mother loved her enough to stay and take care of her, then who would?
