Appearance: Rose's hair is a dark blonde shade which she always wears up in a long ponytail because of the work she does at her district helping the family. her eyes are bright oceon blue with a black spot in the corner of the right eye due from her birth. She weighs 125lb and her height is 4'6, she isn't the tallest girl in her age group because of that she is vulnerable to being bullied. Rose is surprisingly strong for her age because she has to carry heavy loads to help with her family, she doesn't use it outside work often but she loves to be outdoors.
Rose doesn't care about her clothes, she wears a plain grey shirt with black shorts that come down to her ankles and black sneekers. They are mostly covered with dirt and are occasionally ripped and torn slightly. Her family are in risk of starving and being the youngest, she has the least amount of sharings but Rose doesn't mind although she does feel faint sometimes. Her knees bare some mud markings.
Personality: Rose has a patient attitude to life and takes her time while doing tasks and jobs. She's rarely rude with anyone but finds it difficult to make friends. She mostly plays by herself when not doing work. Rose has a strong heart and doesn't deny a challenge even if its hard. Rose isn't perticulary scared of the hunger games or the reaping, her mother always tells her there is many people in the district and it will be very unlikely for her to be picked out. She doesn't cry at the reaping but feels very nervous and scared among her brothers.
Being in the fishing district, Rose is fascinated by water. She loves to swim and watch the fish in the rivers. Her family business is catching and selling fish so she is being trained by her father to use a fishing net. The children her age joke about how she smells because of the fish which she often cries about. She runs away from home sometimes but doesn't travel far, only to the river. She feels relaxed and comfortable when near the water.
Rose often feels worthless and compares herself to the other districts. She wishes to earn money and feed her family enough so that they will never have to starve ever again. The capitol angers Rose most of the time. She feels that the hunger games are worthless and are suicidal, her family agrees with her but dare not to tell anyone else. The thought of seeing young people being killed makes Rose cringe.
History: Rose is the youngest in her family. She has two older brothers, William (15) and Jacob (17) they both help their father when hes working. Rose's mother died when giving birth to Rose which was tragic to the family and especially to her father. He was so effected by the death of his wife that he didn't stop working for weeks. Eventually he collapsed from exhaustion and promised to stop working to hard to his children.
When Rose turned 11 she started helping her father with collecting the fish from the rivers and selling them. He is training her to catch fish with a net to make it easier for her father. Jacob doesn't have time to help his family because he wants to begin his own business. William doesn't like to be with his family, he was also effected by the death of his mother that he spends most of his time with his friends.
Rose usually imitates the hunger games in her freetime. Playing with sticks and pretending to lunge at someone, if she was picked for the hunger games she would picture it like she was fishing. Her brothers aren't bothered about the hunger games either. Jacob is at a strong age and if he was to fight, it would be very easy for him. William has attempted suicide a couple of times but stopped by his father so the hunger games won't frighten him.
