Jordan Wittnauer-- prettiest girl in District 4. She liked to pretend that was her, even though there were several prettier girls in her home district. Jordan's thick, perfectly wavy brown hair and almost black eyes are gorgeous, though, and her skin tone is a stunning bronze color. Her eyes are shaped like almonds, and her lashes are thick and long.

At a height of five feet, seven inches, Jordan isn't the tallest girl in the world, but if she were any taller she might be considered "too tall". Her weight is perfectly proportional to her height at about 120 pounds. Most of her weight is muscle weight, and she has a BMI of about 19. Because she lives in District 4, her belly is always full.

One of her main flaws in appearance however, is a long scar that runs down her left forearm. This pink line was caused by a fishing hook that got caught in in her arm by her elbow and yanked forward and out near her hand. To distract from this, Jordan keeps her nails always painted a bright seafoam green color. Along with this, Jordan's nose is...rather large. She always sees this anytime she looks into a mirror and wishes for anything she could change it. On her face it is disproportionate to the rest of her features and she was teased for it as a child.

Personality:

Jordan is outgoing, definitely extroverted, and quite liked by most. These traits are what people think about when they see her. They know they can get a good laugh when visiting with her, and easily trust her. On the outside, she is an all around good person.

However, on the inside, Jordan judges people extremely. Whether it be on looks, actions, anything, she usually has some negative thing she thinks about everyone. She will always do what she thinks is best even if nobody else agrees. They probably will never know it due to her seemingly good personality. She's is very optimistic about life, and can usually see the brighter side of things even in the most grave of situations.

Jordan is liked by almost everyone in the District who knows her, and easily makes friends. It's like she has this warm glow about her that makes people enjoy her presence. She is not stuck-up about it, or supercilious, and likewise enjoys the company of others around her. She has a very sarcastic attitude but in a good, humorous way. Almost every word that escapes her mouth is a joke, though she knows the difference between the time to joke and the time to be serious. She has gotten into trouble because of this before, but by this point has learned when to keep quiet.


History:

Jordan comes from a typical District 4 house hold, training to be in the Games from a young age, not quite understanding why as a child. Jordan is shadowed by the fact that her older brother was a tribute. When she was only 8 years old, his name was drawn in the reaping. Not knowing what this really meant for him yet, as her parents usually kept her sheltered from the bloodshed of the Hunger Games as much as they could when she was young, she was excited at first. Her big brother was on TV! But the excitement wore off soon when big brother didn't come home after that. She waited and waited for months until she was informed by her parents that he was not coming back at all. Ever since then the Reapings have scared her to death, her fears are worse than most kids.

Jordan's parents never really got over her brothers death, although they got a lot less lax with guarding Jordan from the bloodshed after the incident. She began to sneak out to watch the Games. Her interest in them is wild, and while she never wanted to have to participate herself she found the games intriguing.

As mentioned before, Jordan has a long scar running down her forearm. This is the cause of a fishing accident. Just a few years ago, Jordan was walking home from school by the docks. She always enjoyed watching the fishing and made a habit of constantly walking past them. Each day she would get a little closer and the fishermen never seemed to mind. She eventually got comfortable around the docks and didn't worry about inching forward slowly. This carelessness is what caused her to not watch out when a hook was flying back toward her. It lodged in her arm, and the unknowing fisherman yanked the rod forward pulling the hook with it. She was immediately given medical attention, and lost a lot of blood though no permanent nerve damage etc. was observed except the scar.
