Elizabeth Hamilton - District 6 (finished)

Elizabeth is a very attractive young woman. She has a nicely defined body with curves in the right places. She isn't the bustiest girl, but she can deal with what she has. Her body is fragile looking despite her being a pretty strong girl. She may not look it, but she does have muscle under that delicate looking skin. Well that's what it was when she was younger. Now her skin has some slight burns from some chemical reactions she did when trying biology. On her right hand she has a red mark from accidentally spilling some chemical she was working with. She usually keeps it hidden with a black glove, but sometimes it still creeps up on her.

She has a nice angular face that gives her a distinct face compared to others. She also has some nice looking cheekbones that accent her lips and nose. Then her face is completed with her big blue-grey eyes. The overall look is very nice and pleasing. She does have two tattoos on her body though. both of them are on her right arm. One is a circle with the words help on it and the other is like a vine that wraps around her wrist.

Elizabeth is a spoiled brat to the core. If she doesn't get what she wants she will do her best to get it somehow even if she has to retort to very vile ways. She is easily annoyed and doesn't take other people very well. She is not someone to get along with others and instead goes about teasing them. If people were to describe her they would say she was rude and sarcastic. She has a low level of trust for anyone especially for those in different districts.

A basic description of Elizabeth would be mean and she would probably admit she is mean. She does however have a side to her that only a few have seen. With her family she is kind and well-mannered and with her close friends like Eileen she is friendly and cheerful. She does have some of her sarcastic qualities around both groups, but they are severely toned down into a friendlier manner. She is a lot looser around her friends and is willing to be more outgoing around them, but if someone were to see her this way who wasn't a part of these two groups she could snap. She would return to her mean self and chase said person down as if she would die if people found out about her kind side. In a way she is a complicated girl who doesn't trust herself to the unknown public. If she were who she really was some people would probably take advantage of her and she would live a miserable life. So she keeps up a cold front to hide her own insecurities.

She is also a very caring person. Sure it isn't in the way most people would imagine someone who cares for others, but it is caring none the less. She will protect her friends from people who try and hurt them or even people who are just plan a pain to her friends. She will even sometimes protect people she doesn't know, but when she does they tend to think she is doing something completely different. It is probably because of her mean streak they see it differently, but she doesn't care. She figures if she has at least one good friend in the world that is all she really needs.

With the birth of Elizabeth came the usual sharing with other family members, but this seemed almost impossible for Mathew's family. They seemed to break the ties with him and his wife for some odd reason and despite their objections Elizabeth looked like she was not going to know her father's side of the family. Luckily the Norton family was accepting of them and they showed off their new born baby girl.

She was quickly spoiled by their love and attention and it seemed the attention always put a smile on Elizabeth's tiny little face. They raised this little baby with love and affection and with the bonds of family with the Norton's, but it wasn't like Elizabeth didn't know about her other family because at the age of four something happened. They didn't know at first how the family ties were recreated, but they accepted that the Hamilton's did in fact care for their new baby in the family. This was the first time Elizabeth visited her cousin Brook and the two seemed to get along rather quickly. Since both of Elizabeth's parents were busy most of the time with their jobs she was left with her other families to baby-sit of course that didn't last long since sometimes even they were busy so they eventually got her a nanny.

Once the parents work load started to lessen they started to care for their daughter themselves. Each taking turns based on their job they were able to teach Elizabeth everything they wanted to teach her when she was younger. It was easy to notice that Elizabeth took a great liking to medicine at a young age which made her father happy. It was easy to say that Elizabeth was the gem of their eyes, but of course they had to think about the reaping. When she turned twelve her parents wanted to keep her away from the reaping, but at the same time they didn’t want to get in any form of trouble. So she was entered like any other child.

The family was not really poor, but they were not rich. Elizabeth knew that she had to help her family in some way so she would enter her name a few more times into the reaping to get their family a bit more food on the table. Sure every year at the reapings she had a higher chance of being picked, but it was the risk she was taking for her family. Luckily she wasn’t chosen for so many years and now at the age of seventeen both Elizabeth and her family started to become happier. Only a few more reapings to go through before Elizabeth can live a normal life like the rest of her family. So they can only hope.
