Personality:
Naturally, Diamond has a light brown/dirty blonde hair color, but she chooses to bleach it to a white bleach blonde, sometimes adding a little bit of color, such as streaks of a tawny color. Very into looking glamorous, she has her hair grown out long, and she plans on growing it out longer, as it only just lies past her breasts. She wants it to hit around her belly button. She also has long side-swept bangs that sweep to the right side of her face, just sitting about her deep blue eyes.
Diamond is of average height, hitting about five foot six inches. She weighs approximately one hundred and fifteen pounds, making her quite thin. But what she lacks in body fat she makes up for with some lean muscles. You would never guess by looking at her, but she actually has some strength to her, although nothing crazy. She can easily lift up to fifty pounds. After that things get a bit rough. Her muscles are more helpful in agility; she can run much faster than she can use brute strength. But she’s still not the fastest runner. She has to rely more on her cunning thoughts than anything else. But unfortunately, Diamond is not really very good with any weapons. She knows how you use a bow and arrow, but she only makes the mark every one out of five shots. She is most likely to carry around a dagger for the ease of use, and how easy it would be to hide. She often has one tucked into the side of her skirt.
Style-wise, Diamond loves everything glamorous. Beautiful hair, skirts, flow-y, ruffly tops, anything that is in style, really. Heels are often a must have for her, along with some makeup and necklaces. She loves show off her money through her clothes. Often she can be seen wearing makeup to bring out the bright blue of her eyes, and light color on her lips. She tries to stay away from concealers so not to clog up her skin and cause nasty break-outs.
Cunning: Diamond might now have many physical strengths, but she was lucky enough to get a cunning mind. She is good at plotting things and nobody knowing. She can find ways to get herself into places she’s not supposed to be. Tricking people is easy for her. When things need a good plan, Diamond is the person that many of her friends turn to. But of course, she only helps them for a price.History:
Fearless: There isn’t much that scares Diamond. While it can be helpful, it can also be a very negative trait. Her lack of fear can sometimes get her into situations where she should be scared. She’ll talk back to people she should not—she would probably talk back to the President if he pissed her off. And that is not a good thing. But it can be useful for when something goes down, and most people would be too scared to do anything. Her lack of fear is part of the reason she is so cunning—she’s willing to do more than many people.
Cruel: Because she tends to get what she wants when she wants it, Diamond tends to be a bit cruel. She has not filter and says exactly what she’s thinking when she’s thinking it. Often, while she doesn’t mean them to be nasty, things she says come out as bitchy. And Diamond doesn’t realize that what she said might have hurt the other person’s feelings. While it would be good in a situation like the Hunger Games, her lack of a filter can make it hard for her to make and keep friends. People can only stand mean comments for so long before it breaks them or pushes them to the point where they don’t want to be anywhere near Diamond.
Born into a rich family, Diamond was a lucky child. District One was the best district to live in—besides the Capitol, of course. Lavish items surrounded her as grew into a young child. Everything around her was beautiful and gaudy. Beauty was a major focus in the lives of everyone she knew, and she was taught from a young age to value beauty. Her parents bought her the clothes that were highest in fashion, and made it a point for her to pay attention to styles.Codeword: oDair
She, of course, attended school where she learned about the Capitol and how things in Panem were run. With her parents pushing her to pay close attention to her lessons and to always do her homework, Diamond did well in school. She didn’t pass with flying colors, but she did well enough that her parents were proud of her. Every time she brought home good grades they would reward her with some form of expensive jewelry; she liked diamonds the most.
When Diamond became old enough to be entered into the Hunger Games, she was proud to have her name placed into the lottery. Having her name picked would have been the highest honor. Every year at the lottery drawing she would cross her fingers and wish to have her name drawn. Every year that it was not drawn, she would feel as if she had let down her parents. They would have been more proud of her for being a tribute than for anything else she had ever done. The thought of volunteering crosses her mind often.
