Walking along minding my own business. That's all that I was doing. Devyni was busy analyzing the tributes in the Hunger Games, and Sawa and Sonia sent me off to go grocery shopping. The main reason I had accepted their offer to go shopping was because I simply wanted to get out of the house and away from Devyni. My mind was just all jumbled up and I needed time to breath. Time to focus and make sure I understood everything that was going on.
It was only a little bit after I had been outside that I had bumped into a small girl on the sidewalk, watching and waiting for somebody. In a way she almost looked like she was lost or at least looking for somebody. The main thing that caught my attention was because of her bright red hair, and how small she was. I assumed that she was even smaller then she appeared because of the big bulky coat that she was covered in. Overall, I thought it weird because of her size, and being alone. I always figured that she would've been a small child whom had lost her parents in the busyness that was the city circle. As for me, I never really would have noticed her in the first place if I hadn't bumped into her.
I bumped into her and we haven't said a word to each other since. Me being the foolish avox that I was couldn't really say anything, and didn't really expect to meet a child, who I assumed was my younger by 7 years. I also expected her to be all talkative and such, but half-way through our meeting my mind began wondering about how old she truly was and what was the reason why she didn't speak. I figured I would find out when her parents came to pick her up, or when she finally started to head home.
