He is 5' 10" and tan. He is reasonably well built, more slim than buff. he has longer hair that he keeps in cornrows. he will sometimes pull it up in a ponytail when he is in the water. when it is in cornrows, it reaches the bottom of his neck. his arms are really defined and his abs are tight, but not necessarily six-pack. however, they would be if he worked for it. he also has a scar from a knife along his side from his dad which he got as a kid. he is usally seen with a trident and a dao sword.

Gabriel has blond hair that is bleached from the sun. his eyes are two different colors. one is the color of the sky, while the other is the color of the forest. his left is green and his right is blue. he has a scar from his temple to under his chin from a fishing accident. he has a series of cuts and small scars on his limbs. he also has an ugly burn on his left leg. also, he has a dagger wound in his left shoulder from messing around with his friends. also, his nose is crooked from when his dad him and it set wrong. it was rebroke, but it never would go straight

Gabriel is determined no to be like his father. he tries to provide for his family as best he can. he is mature beyond his age because of the events in his past. he had to grow up quickly because of what happened with his father. he has no love for his father and distrusts most people.

For his postitive traits, he is very hardworking. he is ambitious and tries his best at the job he has. he likes to joke around and tries to see the good in life, even after his past. to strangers he seems to be aloof, but to his friends he is very fun to be around. he is the life of the party. he has lots of friends who he likes to do stuff with, to the disdain of the grown ups in the District, especially his mom.

now to the other side. Gabriel is ruthless once roused. he has had to fight since he was a kid. he doesnt trust most people, even his closest friends. he also likes to be in control and is a bit bossy. he thinks he knows everything and doesnt like other people having control of him.

Gabriel's history is bad to begin with, becoming better as it goes on. when he was younger, his dad was a drunk. he bullied the rest of his family. on one of his drunken rampages, he went after gabriel and cut his side with a blade. when Gabriel was 9, he challenged his dad and killed him. this shook him badly. to this day he doesnt like people who bully others. because of his father he is very mistrustful.

after the ordeal with his father, Gabriel had to grow up fast. being the oldest, he had to get a job. he went out and got a job on a ship. quickly climbing the ranks, he became very good with the trident. when he dove in the water to haul in a net, he was cut from his temple to his chin. he was able to get out and get help before collapsing. he was also a natural swimmer. he began swimming before he could walk and was quite good.

but even with all his skill and precocious ability, he was eventually forced out by a recession. after weeks of scrounging the streets, reduced to the lowest he had been since his father, he was ran into Captain Damien Martinez, a famous and powerful captain. upon realizing his identity, he offered him a job aboard his ship. he now works aboard this ship and is the quartermaster.

along with his two little sisters, Arora and Ana Lili, and his mother, he has three pets. he is commonly found in the company of Kiro, his retriever-shepherd mix. Kiro is 2 and 1/2 years old, 71 pounds and 24 inches tall. The dog is a female and is very nice and gentle. She is patched, having color splotches of brown like deadgrass, and white. Playfully called "Ghost Eye," she has two pale blue eyes, almost ice white. Kiro has a black muzzle and a golden tail. She has a short, straight double coat, built like a Border Collie. She is very intelligent and playful. Kiro is the favorite of the town kids. Kiro is not around as much as his faithful hound Nike. If she's not at sea, she prefers to stick around with the kids on the beach or in town. She even has her own room at the local nursery where the kids play with her. Kiro rarely is aggresive with kids.

Then there is Nike, his hound-pitbull mix, is 16 inches and 28 pounds. Nike is done growing at 3 and 1/2 years old. The color of his coat is a black, tan, and white. He has dark brown eyes. He has the build of a pit, but with pointed ears and a bushy curled tail. Nike is hard working and likes to swim and hunt. Gabriel's co-workers are much more taken with Nike than Kiro. The happy-go-lucky type, he loves to be with Gabriel. However, he is a fierce guardian. In fact, because he doesnt like the deep like Kiro, he often stays behind on deep sea expeditions. When this happens, the whole crew goes out on the ship becuase they trust Nike to guard the docks. If he isn't with Gabriel, on the docks, or at home, (Which is rarely), he is usually with Ana and Arora, or some other worker. Of the two, he is the more aggresive and dominant.

Also, he recently acquired a Bloodhound-Dalmation mix puppy. The dog looks like a Bloodhound, but is all white with the black bloodhound saddle on its back and a black mask. It has golden brown eyes and the dog has long droopy bloodhound ears and the bloodhound face, with all the wrinkles. However, the dogs ears dont do much as he is deaf. However, he is very responsive and looks for hand signals from Gabe. He is very friendly and playful and likes to run into town to pay, but always comes back. Generally he doesn't go but a few strides from his owner. He doesn't like little kids as they are a bit annoying. He is very hyper and loves to go for runs and play with Kiro and Nike. He is going to be and is starting to be trained for tracking and search and rescue.

Last but not least, he has a sea otter called Jai. Jai is a quirky little creature. When he first got her, he started copying her movements. Now everyone notices his otter-like motions.

Gabriel likes to fish and hunt. he is good at fighting. very good at setting traps when he goes to hunt on the occasion. he has prodigious skill with the trident and net. he is good at tying ropes and is a strong swimmer. he is good with knives and is reasonably good with swords. he likes to climb and is not afraid of most things
