Victoria Goldberg--Capitol :)

Victoria has light brown hair that comes just past her shoulders. Her eyes are green and her thin lips never seem to shut up. She has a large, beaklike nose which she hates. Her skin is very pale with lots of freckles around her nose and cheeks. Victoria’s eyebrows are light and often scrunched together as they are when Victoria thinks or gets angry. While she isn't a big fan of most Capitol fashions, Victoria does enjoy tattoos. She has several including a gear on the inside of her right ear and a clock face on the top of her right hand. As the daughter of wealthy Capitolite business people, She is always well groomed, well fed, and healthy looking.

Victoria is tall and slim but definitely not muscular. Her fingers are long and her nails painted brown with gold springs. She often wears brown clothing and has an affinity for leather. Victoria’s long legs end in small, quick feet. Her lithe body is easy to slip through small spaces quietly, but she doesn’t often as she finds such activities unsavory. Goldberg always appears to be thinking. Even though her ideas normally fail she thinks everything through completely and often looks distant or lost in thought.

Victoria wants to be a badass. She is just really bad at it. She grew up in a cushy capitol household and spent most of her time drawing in notebooks. Now that she is fifteen, she thinks it is time to go through a rebellious teenager stage and start breaking laws, partying, and being crazy, but her actions normally don’t make it far enough to make her actually get in trouble. She sees herself as an inventor. She wants to humiliate people in powerful positions by catching them in intricate traps and demand ridiculous ransoms that she doesn’t need. Normally her traps fail epically and their existence is either unnoticed or put off as coincidental. She is yet to have any real criminal success and is transforming into a loose cannon. Her schemes are getting more dangerous by the day to herself and others.

She isn't crazy, not by a long shot. She is cool and calculated in her actions. Among a vast number of other things ranging from being able to hold fifteen ink pens between her toes and successfully spending an entire day without opening one eye, Victoria prides herself in the fact that nothing she does isn’t thought out. Victoria just wants to be an individual and to her the best way to do that is through a life of attempted crime. Traps aren’t the only thing crafted by the less than deft hand of Miss Victoria Goldberg. She also has created a multitude of doodads, gizmos, and whatchamacallits specially designed to make her life easier and in some cases, more fun. These have a slightly higher success rate, but they often just complicate mundane tasks like getting the mail.

Although she tries to eliminate traces of her proper Capitol upbringing and sometimes even emulate characteristics that she observes in the district kids from the Hunger Games, it is obvious to most people that she comes from a wealthy family. For one thing, she is far too comfortable with mindless jibber jabber from loads of boring parties as a little girl. She is great at guiding conversations and getting information out of people. She also hates to get dirty. After years of her overbearing mother telling her about the germs you can get from mud and how ladies don’t ever get dirty, Victoria almost refuses to get into situations in which she may come into contact with grime or germs. Having never been in any real danger, Victoria thinks of herself as invincible. This is of course a frightening illusion that could very well end up leading the rebellious princess to a sticky end.

To say that Victoria’s childhood has been cushy would be a serious understatement. Her dad is the CEO of a huge Capitol cosmetics company and her mother is an accomplished surgeon. Together, her parents are worth millions and they have spent their money making sure that their perfect little girl grew up in the lap of luxury. For this, Victoria is determined to show the world that she is not just another shallow, spoiled Capitol brat by acting “outside the law” and with little or no regard to her own safety or that of those around her. If Victoria’s parents ever found out about her attempts to violate Panem’s laws, they would be utterly appalled. Therefore, Victoria must keep her nighttime activities secret which is thankfully not that hard considering the perfect child delusions that her parents have about her. She is an only child and would really love to have a younger brother or sister to spend time with instead of shady characters on the streets.

Victoria has been considering running away (perhaps to District One) for a while now, but she knows that she wouldn’t have any idea of what to do after leaving the Capitol, so she stays put. She is fine at school, but is always too distracted by elaborate schemes or conversation with the other students to even think about focusing on school work. Without a job or any responsibility, Victoria absorbs herself in hobbies to pass away the boring hours in her parents’ beautiful home. Drawing has always been a favorite of hers, but lately, she has gotten into billiards, coin collecting, and tap dancing. She bores quickly though and seldom sticks to a hobby for long enough to become good at it unless you count her inventing, which she has been doing for over seven years and is definitely not great at.

Even though she is a swell conversationalist and to the unobservant eye, a perfectly fine young Capitolite girl, she has had her fair share of unladylike arguments throughout her rather short life. To make these matters worse, Victoria Goldberg is just the type of girl to get angry about something petty and hold a grudge for years. She still hasn’t let it go that the daughter of one of her father’s colleagues called her stupid after a frightening attempt to make a robot capable of making ponytails that cost Young Victoria a large quantity of hair as a little girl. She also has trouble taking commands from others. Victoria is just such a hothead that she cannot stand to be told that she is doing something wrong.
