Tasmin Sarinato (Capitol)

Tasmin had blonde hair, but she dyed it blue a year ago and has decided to keep it that way. It is cut in a layered bob that curves around her face perfectly due to the excessive amount of hairspray she uses. Her eyes are bright green, and she often wears bright blue eyeshadow and a lot of eyeliner. Her nose is perfectly straight, but only because she got a nose job. Her lips are always glossed, and not always in a very normal color. Her ears have three piercings each, and she has a tattoo of a red flower on her right cheek.

Tasmin is very thin due to a lifetime of learning that to be fat is a crime. She wears push-up bras and always holds her stomach in. She enjoys wearing bright colors and buys the nicest clothes possible. She won't wear the same outfit twice in a month, and she won't wear anything that she wore to a party ever again. She loves to wear a simple skirt or pants with a frilly or complex top. She tans easily, and she is sure to maintain that tan all year. She is only embarrassed about an ugly birthmark behind her ear, which she is very careful to hide.

Tasmin is very talkative, but she knows when to shut up. She says two words when one would do, and especially loves to make people laugh. She is, on the inside, quite self-conscious, but on the outside, she acts almost too confident. She is good at making friends and keeping them, because unless a person is her best friend, she won't open up. She keeps her secrets very well and is always appearing happy to hide her true feelings.

Tasmin is very accepting of Capitol ways. She absolutely ADORES the Games, seeing them as a great sense of entertainment. She would love to be a stylist one day. She designs some of her own outfits, and bets with her friends on the winner. She also begged her father to let her sponsor a tribute last year, though her father refused, saying it was a waste of money. She would love to visit an old Games sight and take part in the reenactments. She believes that it would really help her understand some things about the districts.

Tasmin is very independent. She has recently moved into her own, extravagant apartment, leaving her father and mother. She makes her own decisions, and always has since she turned ten. She only asks people for advice in dire need, and is usually stubborn when she knows that she needs help. She tends to make some bad decisions due to her stubbornness; she has been drinking since she was thirteen, and she tends to get quite drunk. She is also very bad at making important decisions, such as how to spend her money, so she tends to waste money on unimportant things, causing her to sometimes pay rent late, or forget completely.

Tasmin was born in the year of the 44th Hunger Games, and her parents love her very much. Her father, Patrick, was thirty, and her mother, Tris, was twenty-four. They have lived in luxury their entire lives, and Tasmin has never wanted for anything. Her older sister, Luanne, died moments after birth, and after Tasmin was born, her parents decided not to have more children. At the age of seven, Tasmin was already very fashion-conscious, and wanted to hide her insecurity as well as possible. She was afraid of people teasing her, so when she was little she was quite the bully. When she turned ten, she realized it would be easier to just gossip and be a popular girl, rather than bully kids outright, as she realized that being an obvious bully would lead her to getting in trouble.

When she turned thirteen, she got her first surgery to get rid of an ugly birthmark on her forearm. After this surgery, she began noticing things that were wrong with her appearance. She was short, so she wore heels. She got a lot of acne, so she got a special face-cleanser and wore a lot of makeup. She began to establish her style at age sixteen, dying her hair blue and wearing bright makeup each day. She purchased a number of wigs to change things up every so often. She had lots of fake nails and makeup, so she didn't worry much about her appearance. A week before her seventeenth birthday, she had her nose straightened, and is satisfied with her appearance... for now.

After she turned seventeen, Tasmin decided that she wanted to move out. She figured that she was a responsible adult, capable of making her own decisions. The only problem was that her parents decided that she had to use her own money to move, and she didn't have enough. Help came in the form of her dead grandfather's will, which left her thousands of dollars. Using this money, she was able to rent a penthouse apartment in one of the nicest buildings in the Capitol. She also was able to furnish and paint each room to suit her needs and wants. Finally, she bought an art set, so that she could design her clothing. She is able to sew and make clothing, but she doesn't always wear her own clothing.
