Naji Hashim Attia // D7 // FINISHED

Naji has hair that seems slightly short and stops right in the middle of his forehead, with some exception. His hair reminds many people of a crow, as it as black as a crow's many feathers. However, his hair is not as ruffled and is actually much cleaner than the feathers of a crow. Despite many of the people in D7 that probably don't bathe, Naji has access to a shower and does indeed enjoy keeping cleanly. At least, enough to have an OCD over keeping clean and not getting dirty.

Only few moments are moments that you can see him with a dirty or disheveled appearance, mainly the times after he's done with the work day, the moments that he's drenched in sweat. However, right when he gets back to his residence, he always comes out with wet hair and fresh clothes. Because of his work, he also has a bit of a buff appearance. Abs, of course, and his height of nearing six feet tall. A bit of body hair here or there to decorate his physique. Although he is strong and full of muscle; Naji also has some odd facial characters with the bones in his face. They are sharp, and easily seen because of how big the bones in his face are. Maybe not physically, but past the fleshy bits and seeing the bone lines on his face, you can tell that the bones are there.

Generally, Naji gets along with people. He isn't a person of extreme anger or frustration, and has a gentle side to him. But, besides that, he still has a rough exterior that seems hard to crack, a lot like a rock. Many people say he has a shell formed around him, metaphorically of course, in place so that even when he gets friends and socializes, he doesn't take things personally. That's what makes him hard to crack, emotional pain comes and goes quite quickly for Naji. He can get over things quickly.

Because of this rough exterior, he has to think every little decision that he makes through. He has to analyze it to the point that he makes the decision, and hopes for the right decision. That makes him a calculated person, but also a complicated one. Everything he does has to have a reason to it; he won't do it if it has no reason. Especially if what he does has a risk to it, with no point.

Relationships aren't something that he's used to. He has to get by in life because of the way the people live in his district. The way he lives secludes himself from most other people because of his work hours, especially since he chose his job as a lumberjack over school any day. However, they happen and there is no stopping them and he doesn't mind. He just doesn't want them to expect to be showered in gifts just because they are together, as he expects the other, man or woman, to get money themselves and get their own fancy objects.

This has made him a bit frugal when it comes to the amount of money that he spends. At one point, he may not have cared about what he did with his money, but now, all he can think about how it is keeping him alive. He only wastes money on food and clothes, but only the latter during the winter months. Occasionally, when he has the money, he may get something extra out of his pocket. But this is a rare move for him.

His life isn't the easiest life, but it has gotten easier over the years. As a child, life was always simple for him. School, education, learning; he used to have a passion for those three things. But, as he grew older, they were no longer an option. Their main source of money, his and his brother's father, had cut them off completely and Naji lost his main source of money. His father wanted money to himself and made that selfish move, Naji losing his dream of just being that same smart writer he'd always been in favor of a laborer.

As a laborer at an early age, he was able to use an ax quite quickly and was soon proficient with it after laborious cutting and chopping of the trees. His younger brother stayed at the residence that they had stayed at, with a friend's family that took them in on the condition that they would pay for their own food and clean up any mess that they made. They did so, willingly, for the residence. His younger brother stayed a student and Naji stayed a worker, to support the both of them in the cramped household, although he is still appreciative of the time they put into the both of them to take them in under their wings.

Because of this connection to the family, they have a place to live; a place that has kept them alive for quite a while now. Around four years, for both of them. Still, Naji wonders if he asks for too much from the family. Staying in a house hold with so many people is hard enough on a three person household, but on a seven person household, it strains. He makes up this burden by babysitting the family's kids whenever he gets the chance to babysit them, and of course, he also feeds the kids like they're his own siblings.

Although, his actual sibling will always come before them. He cherishes his brother like the end of time and keeps him near as if he is the last living being on earth. He never wants anything to happen to him and he ensures, every day, that he's okay.
