Spectra Pyros D13

Appearance:

Just like people would expect from someone who has never seen the light of day ever Spectra sports a lighter skin tone than normal. His siblings have a darker more natural skin tone than Spectra does. Spectra stands in at 6 foot 9 and a somewhat impressive 272 pounds. Spectra wishes he was bigger but he knows he cannot change this. Almost raven haired but not quite a jet black that falls down to his shoulders. If there were not regulations that he needed to adhere to it would almost certainly be much longer. Much larger than the average district thirteen citizen Spectra is somewhat of a freak with his blue eyes and mouth set in a smirk at the expense of the world. Eyes the shape of Almonds and almost in perfect symmetry with his face yet this is only just noticeable.

His eyes may be his worst feature considering that his face is set in an expression of utter hatred of those around him. The pupils are a cold black no different from the look coal takes after its been polished to satisfaction.

Different than most guys his age Spectra appears to look better than most who inhabit district thirteen. In his younger years Spectra suffered from an outburst of Acne and only recently overcame this with help of various home made products to give him a somewhat well cared for look. Just like his father Spectra is built like an Ox with large thick muscles and a body suited to that of a career. Compared to most in district thirteen Spectra is better looking and more cared for than most. Spectra is mandated to wear black clothes with the occasional tinge of blood red streaks throughout.

As most people notice Spectra seems keen to set himself apart from everyone else. His personality could be described as being cold, manipulative and unfeeling. Despite the fact that the authorities in District Thirteen seem keen to control every aspect of his life Spectra has found a way to overcome and be himself. The fact that he seems to set himself apart from everyone else has earned him enemies in the other districts where the peacekeepers are less tolerant and much more brutal.

There are times when Spectra displays almost a military style adherence to orders. Listening and understanding in order to survive. Spectra doesn’t always appreciate rules being enforced and has a bit of a rebellious streak. Spectra can seem to be unhinged and insane this is mostly due to his upbringing wherein he learned that rules were made to be broken and challenged. Underneath the hard cold exterior lies a soft caring personality that can only be found once you look past the veneer of arrogance and confidence that Spectra routinely displays.

Spectra is extremely logical owing to his intelligence and knowledge of the world that surrounds him. He views everything with curiosity more often than not leading him into trouble. His logical approach leads him to have a need to understand everything and everyone. Most people do not appreciate this about Spectra but once they get to know him they don’t seem to mind as much as before.

If Spectra’s life were to be compared to other’s lives it that are under the control of the capitol it would be viewed as a quiet yet comfortable life. His upbringing was modest yet survivable. There was always some food on the table. The food was in controlled portions but it was enough to carry Spectra to his next meal no more no less. Spectra has starved but found a way to overcome this by hunting thus ensuring there was always food on the table.

His parents Helios and Annie married in their mid-thirties and loved the idea of having a child, Spectra is an only child and thus his social skills aren’t as advanced as others in District Thirteen. Spectra grew up and admired his father for his strength and his wisdom, throughout his teen years Spectra learned to hunt and thus become the head of the family and by the time he turned twenty was proficient with a bow and arrow.

Owing to his time learning to hunt and training with a Bow and Arrow he never had much time to pursue a relationship with anyone. Instead he spent his time training and becoming more skilled as a hunter. In later years Spectra’s parents died leaving him alone in the world but able to carry on living and able to survive.

Spectra wasn’t interested in finding love. He was more interested in finding ways to escape the dull life of District Thirteen and proving that despite the fact that he has no family there is still someone out there waiting for him. Perhaps he will find love in District Thirteen. Only time will tell whether that happens or not. Spectra was a hard working student at school and quickly began taking on advanced classes and proving himself to be one of the more intelligent citizens in district thirteen.
