Personality:
My looks? Well, my eyes look a little like fireballs close up, but the main color of them is brown, which can easily persuade anyone to do anything for me. My hair must be confused, because it is a middle shade combination of brown and orange. My skin blends with my hair, at a very light shade of tan. People say I have the most cheesiest smile a 12 year boy could have, and I would have to agree with that. My nose is covered in tiny little freckles, and everyone who meets me notices them instantly. I almost always will have my "cute" little puppy eyes, to get whatever I want, whenever I want it.
Do I have any flaws to my looks? Well, I think I am a cunning devil, but that's just me, I guess. My lips chapped way too easily, and they would look very raw and disgusting most of the time. My feet are not the average, and are way smaller then they should be. I will have to go shoeless most of the time, since I could never find the perfect shoe size for me. All shoes were too big for me to ever wear.
I weigh in at about 90 pounds, and I'm such a short little man, at only 4'8". My average apparel for a day is a plain shirt, jeans, and no shoes, since I obviously can't fit into any type. I know, nothing special, but that is just how I roll. I always appear fresh and clean, like I just got done taking a shower. I send off a scent that no one can really describe, but it is just heavenly.
Well, I enjoy grabbing a nice snug corner, a book, and a few free hours. Books are the only thing that keep me occupied on a boring day, which is pretty much everyday. Mystery books were my favorite, mainly because I couldn't put the book down for days at a time. With my loving of reading, it also comes with a high intelligence level. I outsmart just about all of the other kids my age, and I am way more clever then them also.History:
Quietness was one of my big things, because my parents always told me silence was a virtue. Well, they are now dead, so silence is their virtue. I never liked to talk, because I could never find the right words to say to anyone. People think because I don't talk much, means I am shy. I'm nowhere near shy. I could speak up to anyone If I really want to, but I choose not to, because I don't want to get into a whole lot of trouble.
Acting runs through my blood. I just have a strong feeling when I'm portraying someone other than myself. You could find me in the bedroom on a sleepless night, looking over some sort of script for a play that I want to be in. They only put me as secondary parts, or just the background part. My dream one day is to take a leading part in a big play, and impress all of District 3 with my talent. Why do I love acting so much? Well, I was just born with it, is what Veronica tells me. "You were just born with a dramatic passion for acting." She says. But my heart tells me otherwise.
My "group" I guess you can say, tells me that I have a very upbeat and positive attitude. Well, only they can really see that side of me, because I will always be happy when I am dramatically putting my heart out on that stage. They all need something to keep their spirits up when are having a hard day, so I am their to brighten them up, and put smiles on everyone's faces.
My parents gave birth to this amazing thing, of course, me, around the 48th Annual Hunger Games. They raised me to join the family business of "hunters" and that when I came to age, that we would all become Wanderers, and abandon the Capitol and all of District 3 for a very slim chance of making it to District 13, and settle down in this "rumored" underground base. Why do they think District 13 could survive on their own, let alone have the clever idea of making a base underground? I will never understand, I mean, my parents were always on the nutty side. I have to go against their wishes though, because my heart beats for acting, and how can I do that when I am out in the woods with a bunch of freaks like them?Codeword: odair
I discovered my talent of acting around the age of 9. My parents took me to a play that used basic sock puppets, and I was completely inspired by it, and I wrote my own pieces since that day. I keep them stored away in a box under my bed, which no one really knows about. I met this group of naturally talented kids when I was 10, and Veronica took me in. We are a group that has multiple talents, like Acting, Singing, Dancing, and all sorts of stuff. We do shows together to bring in some money, and at the end of the day, we split it evenly. I'm not in it for the money though, just the cool rush of acting in front of people for their entertainment.
I only have 1 sister, and her name is Esperanza. Weird name for a girl, but I was closer to her than my own mom. She would stay up with me on sleepless nights, writing out scripts for future acting performances. We both shared that special bond for acting, and I cherished that. Well, things backfired no the both of us, and her name was called during the dreaded reaping of the 53th Annual Hunger Games. It was her last year, too. I was taken by shock when her name was called. "Esperanza Harkson!" It still haunts me the look on her face when she took the spot as tribute. None of those scumbags volunteered for her, and she was sent off to her tragic death by spear.
