Destiny Saryn (10) fixed

She is 5'3 and 115 pounds with short and uneven black hair. She has muddy brown eyes in an almond shape and full lips. Destiny has a tiny nose and a small scar across her cheek from being attacked when she was 7 by her father.

She is somewhat thin, but she is not emaciated. Destiny's fingernails are bitten short, and her hands have burn scars on them.

She was abused as a child, and is sometimes depressed and sullen. But when she isn't depressed, which is most of the time, she is a brave fighter, albeit short-tempered, with a sense of humor.

She detests being pitied, and is disgusted at people who ask for pity. Instead of pity, she thinks that people should try to do something for the weak. She is not afraid of death, but afraid of pain.

She has a dark sense of humor, and often offends others. The only things that she will not joke about are the Hunger Games and children in pain.

She has a fear of fire and heat and is protective of her siblings.

She was born to one of the poorer families in District 10, but she usually had enough to eat. She sometimes gave her food away to the starving families or Lily. Her biological father wouldn't let Lily eat sometimes. Shard tried to keep them all fed, but it didn't work sometimes.

She has two siblings, a 12 year old sister named Lily and a 19 year old brother named Shard. She made a pact with Shard that he would never volunteer if she got reaped, no matter what. She thinks that he would have gone back on that promise.

Her father, Aker, was a terrible and evil man who was a child abuser. He bet on the Hunger Games and tried to force his own children to take out tesserae for his amusment. When Destiny refused, he burnt her hands. At other times, he had beaten and cut her with knives.

Destiny's mother, Marigold, is a hard worker who works two jobs a day, one babysitting, the other farming. She got Aker arrested by saying he was stealing food and selling it when Destiny was 13. Aker was whipped and shot.

If Destiny was reaped, she will not kill any 12 or 13 year olds or disabled tributes.
