Pandora Woodards [District 8]

Pandora has long, curly brown hair that differs from his brother in that it's always messy and overgrown. His overly long hair sweeps over his eyes giving him the look of someone who just doesn't care. He has pale white skin with a few pimples and spots. A brown freckle under his chin identifies him from his brother. His eyes are, like his twin, a hazel brown with elements of green.

Pandora is average height for an eighteen year old, reaching 6'2, a foot smaller than his twin, but enough to be considered tall-ish. He is plump and well fed, his family being paid well for all the work they do. He eats better than most, his face is chubbier than his brothers and the envy of any District 8 kid. He weighs more than average, due to his bad diet and lack of exercise. He is not as athletic as his brother, but is probably stronger.

Pandora likes to splash out when it comes to clothes. Being the center of attention is what he's all about. A variety of brightly colored and patterned shirts and jackets make Pan stand out, fashionable jeans and trousers making him look richer than he is. He will always wear fancy black shoes; They're the only shoes he owns.

Pandora is a fool, unlike his oh-so smart older twin. He enjoys being the center of attention, the talk of the town and, in particular, the class clown. Pan loves to socialize, being a popular kid means he is frequently out with mates, with or without Rubik's company. Whilst he would say that he has many friends, his best friend is Rubik due to the sheer fact that their bond is so strong.

Pandora dislikes Rubik's constant need to monitor and watch over him. He would respect his brother a lot more if he gave him some independence as they approach adulthood. Pandora does not take Rubik's role of guardian for granted, but can find it somewhat annoying when he is trying to socialize and Rubik is standing next to him like a hawk.

Pandora's job is not as well paid as Rubik's, as he works on a production line, spraying sheets of fabric with some solution to prevent wear. He hates his job and hates the people there. No talking and face masks make socializing with co-workers impossible, yet he has his wasted education to blame for it.

Pandora feels like he is wasting his time working, as Rubik is clever enough to land a very good job in District 8. A job that could easily carry both of them, their father and Hope. Yet he has always been made to work and put the effort in by their father.

He enjoys partying, crude-jokes and eating. Yet he dislikes hard work and school, probably the worst years of his life were when he was in full-time education.

Born the second child of two twins to the Woodards family, Pandora followed his elder Rubik. Rubik and Pandora were a handful for their parents and whilst it was two mouths to feed and two babies to nurse, they managed to make it through to kidulthood. When the twins were seven, they lost their mother during childbirth, but their newborn sister gave them hope, ultimately resulting in her being named Hope.

Growing up, it was always apparent that Pandora was lazy. At a young age he would refuse to comply with school standards and got into fights with other children. Their father was violent, not due to alcohol but due to the need to control without his wife. Pandora had often blamed Rubik for things he had done and watched his brother beaten by an unforgiving father. Often, the twins would trade places to accept punishment for each other.

Into teenage years, Pandora became lazier. School was just a phase for him, something that would pass before he could find work. He would take lessons off, slack about and generally cause trouble. Once, Pandora was rather abruptly interrupted messing about with some girl in a school cupboard by Rubik, who was disgusted to see his younger twin lose his virginity first. Clearly his older sibling was jealous. Yet he considers himself lucky that it was Rubik who intruded and not someone dangerous. At the age of fifteen, Pandora dropped out of school to work in the production line, where he sprayed toxic solution onto clothing items to prevent decay and wear. He has no idea what he wants to do or be in the future, but is hoping he will do something more exciting in years to come.
