Heaven all mighty, the girl was beautiful. Dark black hair, pale white skin that made her blue eyes pop out more than any other he'd ever seen. She was dressed so elegantly, so sophisticated and he felt rather underdressed. But what could he do, right? He was on the job, this was his work clothes. It worked for him, he liked it. At least he didn't have to choke himself with annoying ties and suits and all that the business men seem to wear around here. That wasn't Spinner, he'd never get used to it.
"Hi." He looked down to his clipboard, searching for the order his boss had made. "Yeah, that'd be appreciated." He said, looking back up to the girl. "I'm pretty sure I didn't walk in the right entrance," He glanced around. Yeah, this wasn't a place for him to be. "but I'm here to pick up an order for Mr. Cattermole." Spinner dragged his finger down the clipboard and tapped two times on the order. "I think it says two blocks of emerald on here but the boss doesn't have the best handwritting in the world." He smiled crookedly at her, he was just a very comfortable guy.
"Look, I've got my equipment outside, any chance you could tell me where to go?" Surely she knew. This was the address he had been given so he assumed it was on the property.

Spinel just waited, looking at her but she seemed shocked or something like that. He couldn't exactly pinpoint what was going on in that pretty little head of hers and he sure as hell wasn't going to because just as quickly, she caught herself and was Miss Professional again. There wasn't anything wrong with it, he was actually not surprised. Some of the people from District 1, the richer folks were like this. This girl, in fact, wasn't even anywhere close to the worst. Some of them, like Mr. Han, so it seemed, looked down at people from his own District as being insects. Honestly though, if he was like that with his own people, Spinner didn't want to see the man interact with the lower, poor districts. Although, he'd probably never even acknowledge them so...
"Happy to assist me, huh?" He smirked, not seeing how freaking fantastic showing him around would be. But he shrugged, "Alright, alright." He nodded and ran a hand through his short locks. "Might be better if you show me the way, yeah." He wouldn't get lost, at least.
Plus, by having her do that, he would be home much faster. "Thanks." He nodded to the girl, "Spinel Cove, by the way." He held out his hand. Might as well be polite and introduce himself, she was offering to help him after all.

Spinner waited for her to take his hand but she simply stared at it in confusion, resulting his confusion. He wouldn't lie, he was a little offended that she wouldn't just shake it. Come on Spin. You've got dirty hands. Can't expect her to shake it. With that white dress, flawless face. Pffft. Like she'd ever let the tip of her nail touch him. Okay so, he was being pretty freaking judgmental right now but he couldn't help it. He shrugged wiped his hand on his pants. He'd be professional since she was, a bit too professional and maybe a tad stuck up but her smile seemed genuine. At least.
Mr. Cove, huh? Wow. He refrained another smirk. She wouldn't shake his hand but she'd call him by Mister. Spin 'bowed' his head when she introduced herself. Anxo Han. "Han, as in Mr. Han and co.?" He asked but pressing his lips since she spoke to the other girl he hadn't noticed before. He made note to call her Miss. Han if he were to call out for her. He wouldn't want to be disrespectful. If she was Mr. Han's daughter, he had to be careful. And even then, she hadn't called him by his first name, he doubted she'd be too pleased if he called her Anxo.
Spinner nodded and followed her out the store, he felt much more comfortable out here in the sun.

Yes. She was definitely related to Mr. Han, not that it really changed anything. Well, that was a big fat lie. He didn’t want to show it and wouldn’t show it but he was a little intimidated. Spinner nodded, "My very first." He caught up to her, walking next to her and glancing in her direction every few moment. He felt the little awkwardness, he saw her stiffness. Honestly, he had no damn idea what was going on in that brain of hers. He clearly didn’t know how to take all of this. Yes, a lot of very rich folks from District 1 were stuck up and proud of their success, wealth but this seemed different.
"It’s a fairly new job, you see." He told her, trying out for any kind of conversation. "Not half a year, I guess." He had started mining with his father when he turned 18 and refused to go back. He searched hard and got this job, it was better than mining. That was for sure. But sculpting, that was what he was interested in doing as a real job, the job that would keep his family fed. Honestly, the Coves weren’t poor. No one here in District 1 was poor but they weren’t at the top either so their living situation didn’t seem 'appealing' to some. It did not matter, they were under no monetary pressure, he just wanted to give more.
He stopped next to his truck and motioned towards it with his thumb,"Should I bring it over now?" Anxo, uh, Miss Han was the boss here. Whatever she said, he’d do.

Spinner’s lips twitched into a wider smile when she congratulated him. "Thank you," He almost called her Anxo. "Miss Han." It was actually very nice of her, he hadn’t expected any comment on the matter, actually. Maybe something more professionally related so this was quite a shock. Honestly, it was very hard to see where this girl was coming from. Clearly, he understood her wealth background. He didn’t know the Han family personally, he didn’t know any very, very rich families personally but he knew enough. But even with that, it seemed like An-ugh. Miss Han, crap. He didn’t like saying that so, in his mind, he decided calling her Anxo was perfectly fine. Yeah so, it didn’t seem like Anxo was like her father. That man, he never wanted to meet him. He heard enough stories and they weren’t very pleasant.
He stopped walking once he reached his truck and leaned against it with his clipboard loosely holding itself at the tip of his fingers. "Hm? Oh sure." Of course, it would be better if she read his sheet, she’d probably understand more what this scribbling meant than he would. "Sorry, it’s a bit dirty. Dirt smudges here and there." Wasn’t so easy handling stones, it wasn’t. And then when your truck’s engine went all crappy, you had to do what you had to do.
Spin handed her the board carefully, holding it out for her if she’d rather not touch it. "Third order on the list." He told her.

She didn’t take it, he wasn’t surprised and it actually didn’t bother him for once. He made sure his hand didn’t shake, she wouldn’t be able to read it if he didn’t. He wasn’t nervous, nothing like that. Maybe he was just lacking sugar or something in his body and made a reminder to eat the chocolate bar in his truck as soon as possible. Spinner treated his eyes to a subtle look over of the elegant girl in front of him. He could not believe that a girl could look so flawless. Honestly, no hair was out of place, no hint of pimple or make up smudges, nothing at all.
His lingered on her lips, on her long neck but that was all he let himself do. Yes, might be a 19 year old male but didn’t want to be impolite and improper. It would have been a harmless look, a little sneak at the curves of her body but this girl, she was the daughter or maybe niece of Mr. Han. He had no right to do such thing, who was he to this society. They made it clear that they were so much more important than others.
Spinner nodded and put the clipboard under his arm, “Around the back, far end of the warehouse, got it.” He repeated mostly for himself. With that confirmed, he walked to the driver’s door and held onto the handle. “Miss Han?” He called out to her, “Are we both heading to the warehouse or am I looking for someone else?” He asked her. He would offer her a ride, if she was meeting him there. He wasn’t that rude and selfish.
