Alright, so, here's where I'll talk about my real and out-of-character self. First off, though, hi everybody. (Anyone else hear that in Dr. Nick's voice?)
I'm a big reader and writer. I've written a lot of fan-fiction, which is what led to me role playing in the first place. After I wrote my fan-fictions, I actually had an idea for my own story called Soldiers of the Damned - SOTD for short - which I've been working on for six years, due to the various re-writes that I have had to do. Fortunately, it's now on its last write and I'm looking for Beta readers before I send a copy off to some of the publishers interested in my work.
Ironically, I was told by a publishing agent who was interested in my work that SOTD had the potential of becoming the next Hunger Games. Mind you this is before I even read Hunger Games or knew what in the world they were talking about, and now, thankfully, I know what it is. So that to me is a huge, huge honor.
The book is the first in a series. Of how many I am not yet sure, but at the very least three or four - I expect it to grow quite a bit since the "lore" of the SOTD world has the ability to branch of in various directions that could make for their own interesting titles. But before any of that it's all about getting the main SOTD story out there, haha.
I'm generally a pretty friendly guy. My style of roleplaying is very Para (paragraph-styled roleplay) and I've hardly ever had to do less than two or three paragraphs depending on the responses I am given. So, in other words, you give me things to go off of, and I'll do the same. Haha.
So that's about it for now. I look forward to getting more involved in the site. Of course, I still have to decide what exactly will become of Kain, beings that I don't have a story made up just yet. I do know, though, that he'll most likely be a very calm, collected, and nice person to begin with. How his attitude will be in the end all depends on if he is entered into the Games, and what exactly he comes to experience there.
