As I walked into the kitchen of the Gonsalv family home ,the smell of stew slammed me in the face.It taunted me.The smell of the fresh catch of the day mixed with an overwhelming smell of broccoli, carrots, and potatoes I'm making your mothers favorite I heard my father say. Instantly the smell no longer captivated me know I was filled with rage at my father. My hands sweated my face became a dark red, pure anger shined over me as my look became a scowl. Why? Because it was his fault! Who else could I blame? its his fault mother died its his fault the only person I'm sure I loved is dead, six feet under, pushing daises,in the dirt.
Its your fault!I screamed as I shoved him, unfortunately he didn't fall and break something. My fault?!he exclaimed. You of all people know that's not true! And somewhere inside of me I knew that was true, I just didn't want to admit it. Shut Up! You b..b..B*stard!I screamed at him,and it felt good. The name I had called him had not been efficient but it was all I could stammer out while the tears raced down my face and dropped off my chin. I left, I ran away from my home sprinting towards the docks, fighting back tears out my good eye, running awkwardly while holding one hand on my locket that housed the pictures of my mother and me.
As I sat on the docks I remembered that horrible horrible day. splash splash...thud! I heard the jump of the flying fish soaring out of the sea and into the air! Then back down again, then they hopped up again and once again dived back down. The third time the fish where unlucky as a fishing spear pierced the delicate scales of the fish. I then remembered the tragedy.... We where on our families fishing boat. Just my father & mother, and I. Fishing having a good ol' time. Dad was fishing reeling in a big one it must of been huge because it had him almost over the side of the boat. Me and mom laughed at his struggle when suddenly he reared back on the pole,Hard. He fell backwards knocking mom backwards off the boat and into the water, knocking herself unconscious against the side of the boat. Dad went in after her dropping the rod, there was so much blood.He..he couldn't save her... she had died on the impact of the fall.dump,dump,dump.I heard the footsteps that interrupted my look into the past as I turned to see who stood behind me.....
