Just another week practicing (open)

Natasha was still waking up in the early spring weather of district 4. Last week she had just gone on out to practice her skills for the upcoming hunger games. She was dawned in her usual flexible light armor, and tied up in a tree. She could sleep any where and as such she was tied directly to a thick branch. Over to her side was large bag tied out of reach from any predators where salvaged parts from a Crocaconda corpse she killed last night lay there. The meet was already in her in the form of last nights dinner leaving only chitin for supplies and armor, and a cluster of eggs. Maybe she would keep them as pets. Though the large eggs did make an excellent breakfast, if processes correctly.
Cutting her self and her gear, along with the Crocaconda corpse, down off the tree Natasha prepared a fire in the area she cleared last night and heated water in one of the chitin plates as a bowl. It was not much but better that then eat the eggs raw. Natasha waited about a half an hour before she deemed the eggs eatable, though not quiet as hard boiled as she hoped. Now time to head back. Maybe some one would spar with her, it was getting close to the time of year where she was gonna have to assert her dominance and make sure the whole district knew that she would go next and none of them better try and stop her.
About 3 hours later in her hike through the swamp she started to see the ocean which meant that her district could not be too far off. She whistled to her self a tune that was sung to her as a child smiling as the mocking jays of the forest began to hum it back in their usual spooky fashion.
