~..Wandering around~[Indrik]

Wandering aimlessly in the buzzing streets of district one, is not the usual thing I would like to do, I would rather practice my knife throwing with my friend but then, she went to the forest to hunt for our dinner, if I was the one hunting I would be more faster because she gets distracted a lot, and I don't do good sitting at home so I thought why not go for a stroll. There I was in the side walk, with my empty stomach begging for food but finding none, so it grinds on the inner lining of my stomach, I squint my perfectly blue eyes to clearly see that everyone was in a hurry, in a whirl if you must. Slowly coming into a halt in the middle of the commotion, "Why is everyone in a hurry?" I asked in an audible tone to the people, clearly an ignorant question to a bunch of educated people, who has better things to do than answer an imbecile boy's silly little question.

Sighing heavily, I continue my mindless journey, pausing from now and then to gaze at where my journey takes me, I paused near the fence to check if my friend is back from her journey but to my dismay I find nothing, Another pause in front of a humongous, antique house. My home, where me and my friend live in as a shelter. The next time I stopped, I spotted a tall gray building, I hurry my pace towards the structure to see what's in there, seeing as there were many kids entering the building, I got more curious. I pause in front of it to satisfy my curiosity, I saw that they were training, "No" I said stepping back a little. It was the training center for all of the careers of my district, all the, I never liked that place, I thought that it was just stupid to train if you don't get chosen so you just waste all your energy on practicing for nothing.

I was still staring blankly in front of the building, when I noticed there were people starring at me like I was some crazy freak, my faced flushed I slowly make my way to the side of the building as if to say I'm a career waiting for someone and not just some weirdo. A variety of people entered the gray building, some were tall, some were short, others muscular there was also one that was skinny, "He would easily die if he gets chosen for the hunger games." or so I thought, I saw the same scrawny guy kick butt in the training center. "Wow these are some really tuff people. I wouldn't like to mess with these bunch of people." with fear raging in my thoughts, slowly walking away from the building.

Noticing for the first time, a group of kids starring directly at me, "When did they appear there?" confused as to why I didn't notice them there, I hurriedly walk away from the building before any of them would come near me and ask why I'm here, or worse challenge me to fight in there. "Hey, Hey" I heard from behind me, "Too late." frustration in my thoughts as to why I didn't run. "Just relax and face him." trying to calm my nerves. I turn to face the boy which was a really big mistake since he was six feet tall, I was shaking bad already I did what was for people a crazy thing to do. "Hi my name is Shine. Please don't kill me."
