Emerald Larkonas + District 6

Being Scarlemma's twin, she looks just like her sister. Emerald is five foot six, unlike her sister. She is a slender girl weighing in at ninety five pounds. She has an hourglass shape and an oval-shaped head. Her broad nose is delicately sprinkled with golden-brown freckles. Her tangled copper locks reach down to her chin, and her cheeks are chubby and full of life.

Emerald's almond-shaped eyes are a pale shade of blue-green. The tips of her ears are slightly pointed. The only thing that makes Emerald appear different from Scarlemma is her scar on her cheek.

Emerald is a dreamer and never gives up. She idolizes her sister because Scarlemma is so strong and daring. She is adventurous like her sister, but she is rather clumsy. Emerald is a slow runner and cannot climb trees or even make medicine like most of her district.
She is rather polite and has very good manners. Emerald is quiet most of the time and only speaks when she is required to. She is mentally and emotionally stable, though she does have outbursts every now and then. She is weak and can not bear to even lift a finger threateningly towards someone. Emerald fears the Hunger Games and is even afraid of the Peacekeepers.

Family:
Both Emerald's father and mother are alive. Her mother is very ill. Emerald doesn't like her mother as much as her father, but still respects her.
Childhood:
Emerald was born in the dead of winter in a rundown house at the edge of District 6. The house had no stove to warm her up, and she nearly didn't survive the first night. A month passed and Scarlemma and Emerald were seperated. They were reunited at age four and homeschooled. At age six, when they were going to be sent to real school, Emerald's sister Stefania was born. Emerald developed a good relationship with Stefania and their bond was held strong.
At Emerald's first reaping, her mother told her that she was special and the Capitol wouldn't dare pick her. She told her mother that she would volunteer for Scarlemma if she was picked, but her mother forbade it. Emerald made it to her third reaping without being chosen, and that was when her mother fell ill. Stefania, Scarlemma and Emerald started searching for a cure, and their baby brother unexpectedly died. Life continued afterwards, but Emerald never forgot that day.
