Appearance:
Chestnut is a small and skinny, as in a very thin skinny, girl. Her hair color is a tone of light rusty red, its' also curly, plus short and bouncy. She has bright brown eyes that shimmer in the sunshine. Her skin has a darker pale tone to it that is brighter in the light then in the shadows. With that, she has fairly large lips that spread cheek to cheek when she gives off a big smile.Personality:
Her skin is clear of any dirt or cuts, it matches with her long legs that are also clear. She always wears three bright yellow flowers in her hair and has bright color t-shirts with darker jeans. She also wears a necklace that goes under her shirt, its lace is silver and at the end is a charm of a deep green leaf.
One word can sum it all up: Bright. Chestnut just loves everything colorful, she wears bright colored shirts and shoes, with has bright has she can get jeans. That shows alot already about her personality, doesn't it? She just loves to write in a little book she has called "All to Know". Inside, theres everything bright she sees in a day, which her little sister, Can "Angel" Overberry, never had got. But the point is, she is happy and bright to everything and/or everyone she meets.History:
Chestnut is sweet inside and out. She would never hurt a fly. But, because of that, she fears many things. Getting hurt, bees, bugs, really hot days, dirt/dust, and storms. Alot of things to fear, maybe more. She just hates getting hurt, it leads to nasty cuts and sharp pains. Bees can string and the buzzing sound just annoys. Bugs, like bees, buzz around. Really hot days lead to sweating and it feels like being in a fire pit. Dirt or/and dust leads to getting dirty. Rain leads to getting wet without wanting to.
There are only a few traits Chestnut has. She is good with running fast and climbing. Plus, really good at hiding. She runs everyday, back and forth from the house to the town (Which the town isn't far from her house.) She, every now and then, climbs up things. Then, last thing she can do well, is hide in small places not everyone can fit into.
Everyday is the same with me it seems. I always wander around the grounds, or sit at home. My sister, Can Overberry, who is only around her first months being fourteen is who I fear for most. Sure, two years of my life I was alone with my grandmother Rosey when my mother and father both worked all their daylight hours. But then came Can. She looks nothing like me but her brown eyes, they match mine. Cherry Overberry, our mother, started only working for half the daylight hours after she was born, but our father still works all. I take care of Can most of the day, even when mother gets home, and Can hates it, says she can look out for herself, ya right!Codeword: Odair
At young age, nothing much happened. Grew up with Grandma Rosey and mother, never saw our father much. I wandered around with Can when I was around ten and she was eight, and we loved getting fresh air and most of all, looking at the forest we can't ever go in. When I was eleven, I started to fear the Hunger Games more and more, in an year I might be going into it..Might. But I didn't. I went four years without getting in it, Can only went two so far. Now I fear even more about Can then myself.
Our mother often brings back a little treat for us. We barely get any money off of both mother and father working, but our aunt Glenn lives in the Capitol and every now and then comes to stay a while, bringing some money. Grandma Rosey, mother, Can, and I love it when she comes. Always bringing stuff who us. Now i'm sixteen, and Can is about half way into this whole Hunger Games, guess I just can fear less about her geting picked.
