Kraken Libertine .
The table in front of me lay littered with hundreds of little things. Tiny nuts and bolts scattered the table. Multitudes of odd trinkets and a little pocket watch here and there lay on the front desk. The old pine underneath was barely visible beneath the many odds and ends on the table. I sigh frustrated at my lack of attention and more importantly my inability to piece all these together. I hated this horrible task, but someone had to do it, and to me it was one of the many ways to show just how capable I was. Showing off to my parents told them I had a range of skills and had a high level of interest. All my sisters and brothers had ignored the suggestion of doing this, but I had grabbed it with twoslimy tentaclesoutstretched hands.
I regretted it
No I couldn’t even allow myself that. I needed to train. I needed to work on my physical skills and fitness. I glance down at the untouched piles of work before me. With a swip of my arm I send it all flying onto the floor. A ghost of a smile plays at the corners of my lips and I stand up. Restlessly I begin pacing the shop, fixing little things here and there. I wanted to do something. I wanted this to be interesting. I stop and stare outside the window. An old lady crosses the road, and I can’t help, but smile at the memories of my little fight. I can still see the old woman’s dead body. My smile grows. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
