Lanie Peterson (District 12)

Lanie Peterson is pretty tall. She is 5'5", and she is skinny as well. She has a slight tan to her skin along with a small chocolate brown birthmark on the side of her neck. She also has another same birthmark over her eyebrow. Her nose is followed by barely noticeable freckles as well.

Lanie has auburn brown, straight hair. When the sun shines out, it reflects onto her hair, giving it a slightly red look. This makes her look fairly attractive when she is outside walking around District 12.

Lanie Peterson has a scar on her right arm from a wild dog attack. Lanie also has one on her neck from a high tree fall from when she was younger. When she covers the scar with her hair, it is not very noticeable until the wind blows, making her straight auburn hair float to the side.

Lanie is a very determined, caring girl who will do anything for her twin brothers at home; Toby and Drew. She also loves her kitten as well, Rosebud.

Lanie Peterson is very careful and aware and is a bit more of a healer than a hunter. As a healer, she doesn't trust just anyone either, though. People recognize her as the sweet teenage girl, willing for any challenge ahead.

Lanie can get a little silly with her little brothers, though. She can also get a little out of hand, but she then learns her lesson and realizes that it's the real world, and life is not as fun as she thinks.

Lanie Peterson has 2 younger brothers, Toby and Drew. Toby is 7 and Drew is 6, meaning Lanie sometimes has to watch them. She also has a 5-year-old kitten, Rosebud, which she got for her tenth birthday. Rosebud has red fur, and when it gets scared the fur on her back spikes up, causing it to look like it is blooming. That is how she got her name.

Lanie Peterson is a Healer more than a Hunter, but she does have some hunting experience. Whenever her brothers or friends are sick, most people go to her for help. She does it for a living since District 12 is the poorest district, and she can't stand to see her loved ones in need.

Her childhood was probably one of the worst. When she was 11, she had another brother. At 13, her family was in desperate need. They barely had food to feed themselves, especially him. His name was never mentioned or even heard of, so they called him Junior. Junior soon died at 3 from starvation, and Lanie was completely sad. Ever since then, she wanted to avenge her brother's death.
