This is a cult that worships the moon, sacrifices animals, and inflicts bodily harm on themselves. The people of the Fellowship follow the rule of Prometheus Nox, the Illuminator. They meet in a clearing in the middle of the woods three times a month, during the new moon, full moon, and a random day to celebrate the sun. They live together in an abandoned hospital on the outer fringes on the city, away from the corrupt society of the Capitol, so they can worship the moon in peace. Their mission in life is to reach the Zenith; their afterlife, where they will be able to spend eternity within the moon’s light. The Fellowship of the Moon
Our world is rotting from the inside out. Everything around us has the smell of decay and the look of dissolution. The moon hangs above, against the beautiful backdrop of the starry sky, looking down on us, trying to purify the world with her soft silver light. But it’s a lost cause; even she with all her power and glory is not enough to fix this shit hole we call home. But the moon – the moon is a glowing orb of pure perfection. That is where we belong, and the only way we get there is by giving tribute to her bountiful glory. We must reach the Zenith, were we will spend eternal glory among the silver light of the moon.

RitualsThe Enlightening – When an animal is sacrificed, the blood is collected in a silver chalice. The Illuminator then moves amongst the followers and paints a circle on their foreheads to symbolize the moon. The rest of the blood is poured into the reflection of the moon that is captured in a water basin in the center of the clearing.
The Sacrifice – An animal is sacrificed by the Aitken at every meeting, to show the moon the commitment of her followers, and to provide her with energy to continue her cycles.
The Bloodletting – When a person joins the Fellowship, or attains a higher rank, they must receive a cut on their right bicep to show sacrifice and commitment to the moon. The blood is dripped into the reflection of the moon that is captured in a water basin, symbolizing an offering of one’s self. The person is not allowed to treat the wound. The more marks a person has, the higher the rank.
The Burning – All the higher ranks are burned with a metal ring in the middle of their foreheads, leaving a permanent circle, showing their full commitment to the moon.
New Moon – Every new moon, the Fellowship meets in the clearing and prays for the return of the moon. They sacrifice an animal as an offering to the moon, to make her reappear in the coming days. It is held at midnight. The Fellowship needs to fast the entire day before this ritual.
Full Moon – Every full moon, the Fellowship meets in the clearing and celebrates the moon’s return, and the power of her light. They sacrifice an animal to show her their gratitude. It is held at midnight. The Fellowship needs to fast the entire day before this ritual.
Sun – Each month a ritual is held for the sun, thanking him for providing the moon with his light, and letting her shine. It is held in the middle of the day, when the sun is at his highest.
