This is mostly for Sky (and Chaos if she wants to creep/give opinions), but I suppose if someone is OMGINSPIRED they can pitch me some ideas and I'll think about expanding this plot idea a bit.

SO THIS IS VALKYRIE. She likes voodoo and absinthe ~~and Jessa Colbier~~. She has an artist/poet friend who also likes absinthe (a lot a lot a lot — like Moulin Rouge a lot, lol) and is pretty much convinced Valkyrie is a real life Muse. I think they met in school and have been close friends for a while. In any case, he thinks of her as his artistic muse and finds her and her voodoo fascinating (AND, I MEAN, IT'S VOODOO SO YEAH MAN). She totally feeds off his idolization of her, playing up the muse thing and more or less toying with his absinthe-addled mind because she likes the attention. They should have ridiculous hallucinogenic adventures together. This is not a romantic relationship, at least not from her end (whether or not you want him to have unrequited romantic affections is up to you) since she likes the ladies. So it's platonic, but like... crossing some boundaries in a confusing way? Idk.

Ideas/opinions, Skyskysky? I hadn't sorted too much out about him yet, I just wanted to do some silly voodoo-twisted Moulin Rouge plottage basically, lol.

Soooo, for names, I'm blank. Definitely need something either really bubbly it's creepy or just regular creepy. Maybe something a la Airam Laveau (masculine play on Marie Laveau, who was a famous hoodoo priestess)?

Anyway, for the basis of the character, I'm fine with what you've got. Maybe Airam (name still isn't final, but I'm gonna use it for now) was always really different as a kid? Figured he has some sisters or brothers, household was really strict, but he never cared and did what he wanted anyway. I picture him as really aloof and strange but also down to earth and clingy, if that makes sense. Of course, totes into absinthe and writing trippy things. I figured he'd be clingy to Val because he never really had anything to really cling to when he was a kid, y'know? That is, if he tells me whether or not he ran away or his parents kicked him out. That's all I've got so far.

Yah yah, I am so on board with this!

Btw, I had contemplated naming him Toulouse (after Taoulouse Lautrec XD) for a while. In case you want to look into the history of his absinthe-addled predecessors for inspiration too, lol. I also really like Airam Laveau. <333

So. I'm really into this whole voodoo-ified Moulin Rouge idea. It's pretty much the basis for my entire thought process. Plus, voodoo has a lot of French influence, particularly New Orleans Voodoo (which if Valkyrie's voodoo is the least bit accurate to anything, it's that), which totally justifies all this silliness in my mind. MKAY.

I'm thinking there needs to be an underworld absinthe club of some sort happening, in a grungy cellar or OMG AN ABANDONED WINDMILL FTTT. ~~It could be named Montmartre for extra nerdiness, lol.~~ But yeah. It'd be an excuse for them to hang out with their absinthe doing silly things and there'd also be an excuse for dancing which would be a really convenient way to get Valkyrie and Jessa together. Maybe it could be your boy's brainchild (he ran away and made this place as his getaway hideout or something) and he could write/draw/paint/whatever all over the walls (basically have it double as a studio/gallery/etc) and/or it could be part theater? Like... I'm really pro shamelessly ripping off the Moulin Rouge into a supah grungy version inhabited by inebriated escapist misfit teenagers. ~~Cancan dancers — I kinda want them. XD~~ Maybe there are voodoo spirits hanging out there too and it can double as a place where Val does rituals and things.

IDK. FEEL FREE NOT TO LIKE MY IDEAS. XD
