Mara needs someone to RP with. I am also really sorry for those of you I rped with, I just was on vaca and didn't have time to tell you.

Name: Mara Flaredge
Age: 14
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 10
Appearance:
Mara Flaredge isn't all that tall but not short either. She's about 5"7 and is medium sized from their livestock. Mara is somewhat tanned from working with livestock and walking to the merchant's to sell things they produce. She has sun-highlighted, light brown hair that comes down to her mid-forearm and is usually down unless she needs to dress nicely (like for the Reapings, etc.). Her skin isn't the best in the world with frequent pimples and sometimes a zit or two. She only washes her face when she sees a zit.
Mara has fairly long nails and usually there is dirt underneath them so the end of her fingernails look either dark brown or black. Her nose is small-ish and somewhat pointed. Her lips are thin and she has a frekle right underneath the edge of her mouth. Mara's legs and arms are both strong this is from hauling their things to sell to the merchant (the merchant is a little ways off but she gets used to the frequent walks she takes). Her legs are generally a little bit more hairy than other girls because she doesn't shave them very often, but she does shave her armpits quite frequently. At the moment she has a sprained foot and limps as she walks.
Her eyes are a deep brown and she has normal-sized, black, curled eyelashes. Her eyebrows aren't bushy or thin, people have actually, strangely, commented on her eyebrows.
Mara has big hands for a girl and on her big hands she has a scar running from the middle of her hand down to her wrist, this is from a childhood accident.
Personality:
She loves to run around and be outside, she even kicks around a ball once awhile when she gets the chance, but it usually is a short period of time. She's pretty silent when she walks but when se talks it's pretty noisey even her whispering is loud you could hear it from a few feet away. Mara is more a tomboy and hates anything pink and hates it when she has to wear a dress every year at the Reapings. Mara, the tomboy, is also hot-headed, although she's not as bad as most hot-headed people, she won't snap as soon she gets mad. Mara just starts to get mad and when you get her a little bit more angry her lips start squish a little bit, then when you get her mad enough, she yells and it doesn't help with her talking being noisey, which makes her yelling even louder. So basically, she bellows when she's angry enough.
Mara is nice to people who are nice to her, which they generally are nice to her. So if someone pushed her, she'd push them back. She sometimes goes by this rule: 'If you hit me, I get to hit you 10 times harder', depending who it is. Mara is confident when needed but prefers to keep to herself. She'll go onto a stage and say things but she prefers not to say anything about her family in front of people who aren't their friends or family. This might be a problem if she was ever a tribute in the hunger games because whenever she watches it, eventually once, someone has to talk about their family a little.
Mara likes to correct people sometimes, especially when someone stated a fact that isn't true. When she talks with anyone, she prefers to be out in the open, with fresh air, she doesn't know why, she thinks it's because she just prefers to be outside.
History:
When Mara was 7 years old, her mom and dad split up, she lives with her mom and generally does most of the work the man is supposed to do, but that doesn't stop her from doing it. Ever since she turned 9, she's been making the walks to and from the merchant, she generally sells the things they get from the livestock they have (she generally likes the walks). She had one best friend but he died from pnemonia in the winter.
Alone, she generally had to find w ays to entertain herself, but, once, when she tried entertaining herself, by carving, she cut herself because her goat pushed the knife with it's nose, which sliced through her hand.
After a little she got a male goat to go along with her female one. That's when her mom and Mara started to breed goats. They usually kept one and sold the others. Mara and her mom never had enough money so selling the goats was amazing for them because they finally got a little bit more money.
Mara's mom wants Mara to work in the fields when she's old enough, but Mara doesn't want to work in the feilds. She'd prefer to keep doing what she usually does, sell things at the merchant's, and sell the kids (baby goats) when they're old enough, because now she usually entertains herself by playing with the kids and her goats, Rosy and Mister.
