Alright, so today I started writing about a fictional couple called Skid & Fae. They're homicidal for each other, suicidal for themselves, and all around fr-eak!-y. I based Fae off of a character on this site, Karina. She's a pretty girl in pink hair and a deep load of trouble... she's been tracking her ex-boyfriend for the past few weeks and can't seem to find him! Sucks for her, she's in love with Kade who is in love with Ella [Lalia] who has an ex called Zane [Kara] who is with Lydia [South] right now. I'm including Karina's backstory and that of Kade's because its the pivotal plot of her life, so I thought anybody who will be making the Skid character should know what they're getting into.
So Karina/Fae is a bad ass, she's very emotionally gentle, she has a bit of a temper, and is exhausted by drama she doesn't create. She has a "dgaf" attitude towards people who she isn't in love with, and is pretty independent. My fictional Skid character is humorously disturbed and humorously disturbing. He's dark, he's twisted, and he doesn't get along with humans, but he likes Karina for some reason, he can't explain it. It's actually funny to him that he can't explain his feelings because he is a very emotionally intuitive feeler who judges people by tone rather than spoken word, and calls out people on BS in a very smooth, efficient way. (ie blatantly: "you're lying."). He got his name, Skid, from resembling a race car: he's fast and dangerous, but he's very silent. He also resembles a car fanatic in that he can name a car by the sound of its engine, but he doesn't know how to drive it. He can name a bitch if he sees one, but he can't relate to her, feel for her, or compromise. Skid is just the wild word for him, he's just not right enough to be called Drive or something.
I'd like to develop a very platonic, casual love affair between Skid and Fae because they deserve something emotionally violent and physically detached, both really lust for each other but to retain their sanity, they abstain from giving up control to their feelings. Anyways, Skid will be played by Evan Peters. I'd like him to be seventeen, because Fae character is eighteen, and the idea of him being more "innocent" than her appeals to me. He should be a sociopath, wickedly truthful, lustful, and helpless. The kind of guy who alternates between fantasizing about axe murdering you one second, then thinking about how nice it would be to smell your hair the next moment. He should have the driest sense of humor possible, absolutely no outer emotion, very awkward in a way. Except that he shares Fae's DGAF attitude and basically they're like twins, except he's a more subtle bran of crazy whereas she airs it out in the open for everyone to see.
Anybody interested in developing this with me - I'd love to have someone breathe life into Skid. If not, I'll make him myself, but I like the anxiety of the unpredictable - I play Karin and Kade, so I know what they're both thinking, it's one of the reasons why I don't classify them as "soulmates" even though they're compatible. Having someone else play Skid would really help add that extra kick. He needs to be physically sound appearing, emotionally strong, and socially confused to Fae's physical soundness, emotional wreckage, and social suaveness. They protect each other in different ways.
random shizz:
-doesn't matter what district he's from, but I'd prefer a lower one
-they will meet in a bar wherever he lives
-he never EVER makes jokes, he'll simply comment on a joke or something amusing in his dry, half-serious way
-he's probably never been in a relationship, but had physical relations before
-he's classified as okay looking, and hot as an acquired or unique taste, because he possesses rival traits of blonde and muscley, but pale and dark eyed, but thin for his build and well groomed for DGAF-ing, etc. So basically he doesn't entirely appeal to any one cliche group.
