[D3] The 39 Clues Plot

This takes place in District Three. I'm not sure if all of you are familiar with the book series The 39 Clues, but it's about a family divided into four branches and out set to look for clues (that makes up a serum that will make you the most influential and powerful person in the whole world, but we'll change it up into a microchip that contains the Capitol's top secret files that may cause their downfall, okay?). The Cahill family was founded by Gideon and Olivia Cahill. Gideon was thisclose into finding the microchip that would free Panem, but was found murdered on his study by his wife Olivia. The four children were already in their twenties, and blamed each other for the death of their father, accusing one another for the murder.

There are four branches in the Cahill family, and that's the Lucian, Ekaterina, Tomas and Janus branches. Each have their own specialty, and all four are out against each other (even enough to cause harm) just to gain access to the Capitol's downfall. Some have good reasons (so that Panem may be free again) but some have other darker intentions (so that they could rule the world themselves). Little to they know that there is another branch, called the Madrigals, and they'll do anything to stop anyone from having the microchip.

This branch was founded by Luke Cahill, first born of the Cahill siblings. They specialize in leadership and espionage (read: great leaders and spies). They are the most ruthless of all, and has the tendency to use poison in everything.

This branch was founded by Katherine Cahill. They specialize in inventions and science (read: inventors and scientists). Since they are the 'branch of ingenuity', they dispise the Tomas branch, calling them 'barbarians'. The tension started with the founders themselves when Katherine stole one of Thomas' clues and planned to escape with Luke, because she was angered with Thomas falling in love while on the hunt.

This branch was founded by Thomas Cahill. They specialize in sports and anything physical (read: athletes and explorers). They are bitter with anyone from the Ekaterina branch (read the Ekaterina section for more information).

This branch was founded by Jane Cahill. They specialize in the arts (read: artists of all kinds and writers). They are also, in contrast to the Lucians, terrible rulers.

The Madrigals are founded by Madeleine Cahill, the fifth child of Olivia Cahill. She was born right after the Cahill family broke apart, and was raised by Olivia Cahill to only have one intention in life: that is to bring back the family together. Their goal is to stop anyone from coming close to the microchip, even if it means physical harm. All of the other branches are terrified by them, and would immediately back off upon seeing the Madrigal sign. This is because the Madrigals could be as ruthless (or even more) as the Lucians. Most Maridgals are double agents, infiltrating the other branch.

Founded by Damien Vesper, best friend of Gideon Cahill. He murdered his own best friend because he wanted to have the microchip for his own, to be the sole ruler of Panem. The Vespers are the rivals of the Cahills, and some even manage to be part of the Cahill family through marriage.

1. There will be assigned threads for everyone, so if you aren't assigned to one, please do not post on it. (Credits to South for the idea <3)

2. You cannot choose to become a Maridgal double agent. Once you have completed/we have received your bio, then we will send you a PM whether we will 'test' you (this means a thread).

3. Absolutely NO GODMODDING allowed. If someone is a Madrigal/Madrigal double agent, then obviously your character wouldn't know. Don't be a Mary/Gary Stu, please.

4. There is a limit to Madrigal double agents, and that's only three people. And I claimed one, because I am a hoarder like that xD.

5. It is not possible to be a Vesper and a Madrigal at the same time. It might be for the books, but not in this plot, since it will only be more confusing.
