"Life With Derek" Plot

I love Life With Derek to pieces, and although it got cancelled, I'd like to start a plot based on Life With Derek. You do not need to watch the show to join.
Life With Derek is about a blended family living in Canada. So, I decided that we should either a. have them in the capitol b. have them in a district so their eligible for reaping. We'll discuss that later. Here are the characters that we need.
Derek is the sort of person that is a rebel and doesn't stick by the rules. He loves pulling pranks on everybody, especially his step-sister, Casey. He isn't very smart when it comes to school, though, and once failed a grade. He is very sneaky and sly, often embarrassing his friends and family members. He is the eldest of all of the kids. Brother to Edwin and Marti.(17, open, faceclaim: none yet)
Casey is the smart one of the family. She gets almost straight A's and is called "grade grubber" at her school, a long with a bunch of other names like Klutzilla when she tripped and fell onto someone. She follows the rules and is obedient, but when it comes to Derek she can sometimes bend the rules. She's also a tattle tale, telling all the pranks Derek played on her. Sister to Lizzie. Lizzie is a sports fanatic, most of her friends come from her sports teams. But, her best friend of all is Edwin, whom they always tell secrets to each other in the games closet, am abandoned closet nobody uses except to dump useless crap in. She's an average student, her grades raising to a's and lowering to c's. Sister to Casey. (12, open, faceclaim: none yet)
Edwin is like Casey in one way - they both get good grades. Other then that, their personality is completely different. Edwin takes more after Derek - Derek keeps him in line. He always encourages Edwin to do sports but he's not an athletic person. He sometimes plays pranks on his step-sisters and sometimes even Derek. Edwin is like a mild Derek, but sweeter and more kind. (12, open, faceclaim: none yet)
Marti is the youngest of the clan - she believes in imaginary friends, unicorns, fairies, and all that other stuff. She's innocent, but sometimes a troublemaker in a young kid's way. She looks up to Derek, and likes him more then anyone else in the household. Derek is really kind to her and will do anything for her. (8, open, faceclaim: none yet)
We also need Derek, Casey, Edwin, and Lizzie's friends which can be premade characters.
