Midnight is a sweet girl who has only a few friends. She doesn't have very many good friends only one or two good friends and then just a few friends other then that. She probably needs a crush, someone she has a crush on or who has a crush on her, or both. She wouldn't have very many enemies besides her brother and even they aren't really enemies.

Bella is a sweet girl of fifteen. She is the middle child of a pretty well off family in district four. She doesn't have many friends but those she does are really just there because she needs them. She doesn't have many enemies, except maybe the man who raped her when she was a child. She considers him an enemy. She has an older brother and a younger sister and lives with both of her parents. She gets along better with her father then her mother. She works in her dad's fish net shop.

Maude is a fifteen year old girl who knows how to handle sadness and rejection. Her father moved out on her and her mother doesn't speak to her a lot. She knows that she doesn't have a very good life but she also knows it could be worse. She really misses her brother who died in the Hunger Games years ago. She needs lovers, friends, and frienemies.

Bird is a sweet young girl who has seen a lot of hardships. She has five older siblings that live for the most part on the streets. The only house they have is a small beat up apartment where they all live with their adopitive mother Batty. Bird needs some friends, about her age or maybe her siblings age. People who she can talk to outside of her family. She doesn't trust strangers though, so not knowing the person might be hard for her.

She loves it there but when most people would ask her why she ran away her responce would always be that she didn't have any parents. That is true but untrue, her mother died when she was twelve and she lived with her adoptive father who gave her everything she wanted.

Iris is not simple to explain but at the same time she is. She has a daughter so she is very mother like and does not go around doing whatever she wants. She works as a financial adviser for the people in district six, and doesn't really like to goof off because of her daughter. She is a single mother and works hard to keep her life afloat.

Willow is only nine years old and spends all her time just trying to get enough food and clothing to keep her baby sister Violet alive. She doesn't care about herself nearly as much as she cares about taking care about her twin. She knows if she were to die her sister would follow shortly after that.
