D4 // The Talented Mr. Ripleys [Open]

District Four calls for pirates, mang, and these four boys are indeed in search of treasure... the kind that's buried six feet under, to be precise. That's right. This is a plot about:

PIRATE GRAVEROBBERS

NINO RIPLEY // LALIA
(Male, 17, Jang Geun Suk FC)

Nino is the binding force between the four Ripley boys, an ironic peacekeeper of sorts when their opposing personalities start to clash. Low-key, he doesn't like over thinking things, particularly when it comes to ideas about changing what has always been. He's content to continue with the graverobber career path, because it's what he knows. The end. Maybe it's the District Four in him, but he has no intention of being the one to rock the boat — especially if doing so might mess up his hair.



JUDE RIPLEY // ELEGANT
(Male, 18, Jung Yong Hwa FC)

Jude is in the habit of playing it cool, but inside he's a bit of a mess. Having become the head of the Ripley household after the passing of their parents, he struggles with the responsibility of it all, although he never admits it. Despite his disdain for the family profession, he carries on with it, because to do otherwise seems to bear the threat of chaos and civil war between the four brothers. When he thinks no one is looking, his high strung habits find their way out as he argues aloud with himself and flails his way into borderline panic attacks. The rest of the time his worries are caged in his head, a nearly unrelenting dialog of mental meltdown hidden behind an easy going face.



FITZ RIPLEY // WINDY
(Male, 16, Lee Taemin FC)

Rather than pilfering wedding bands and keepsakes from corpses, Fitz seems to have absconded with life itself. He radiates it with every smile, as though possessing more than his fair share, as happy-go-lucky and undefeatable anything that ever was. This has given him quite the reputation as a pretty boy, as his innocent face and giddy disposition tends to immediately endear him to all but the most heartless of people he crosses paths with. The only time his grin seems to fade is when it comes time for work; Fitz knows that if their dealings were really as innocent as the Ripley boys were raised to believe, then there would be no need for them to venture out under the cover of darkness.



NOAH RIPLEY // SOUTH
(Male, 15, Park Min Woo FC)

With a temper so short it doesn't even have a fuse — just an "on" and "off" switch — Noah has a talent for finding fights in the most unlikely of places. Jealousy burns wild and senseless in this one, whether it be over a romantic interest or a financial situation. One verbal misstep in his direction and you're lucky to have five seconds of getaway time between you and Noah's bellowing rage or thoughtless fists. However, those who are familiar with his ways know that he can be just as easily swayed in the opposite direction. A cheap and easy compliment is more than enough to allay his fears of rejection or inferiority, summoning the kind of enthusiastic grin that makes it all too obvious that he is easily manipulated. Maybe that's why he is not only on board with graverobbing, but seems to take pride in it. His parents' old reassurance that this isn't so much theft as it is recycling is permanently seared into his ideology.
