Hi all! I've been lurking in the Cbox for a while but I don't think I know many of you yet - but I'm looking forward to getting to know more people, and getting into more rping as well.

So this is to see if anyone would like to plot with me and my D11 Lyls, who would have been a regular 12 year old, if not for her one debilitating genetic defect - a lack or almost total absence of melanin, leading to her being an albino. By this, she's completely unable to step out into the sun as this will cause her skin to burn severely upon contact with UV rays. Therefore, she leads a nocturnal life, staying indoors/sleeping and coming out only at night and thus has almost no friends ....... yet. But this is where you come in

She is nimble on her feet, due to having to tread quietly in the night, gathering extra food, climbing trees and running away from Peacekeepers or the first hint of dawn.

Hey, I'd like to rp with you if that's fine. I have a D11 Male named Kaiser Ansan. He's a calm, kind, and sarcastic person. Though he's normally calm, due to a traumatic event he loses it at the sight of blood. Depending on how much blood, he ranges from mild anger to insanity. I don't really know exactly how our characters would work together, but I'm open to ideas. His profile is in my sig.

Hiii! Of course - I've read Kaiser's profile and he sounds interesting!
One association I can think of is how, as Kaiser lost a sister to a birth defect and Lylia's condition is effectively a birth defect, this reminds Kaiser of his lost sister. This triggers a non-violent memory (?), in contrast to the insanity triggered by blood, and they gradually form a bond over that. Lylia's not had a connection with someone else out of her family before, and she would love to be noticed, acknowledged, and to have a real friend.

What do you think?

That sounds good. Just to note, Kaiser's sister was actually killed by his father due to poverty. Though Kaizer knows this, he still naturally believes it was a birth defect since he has the memories completely suppressed (except when they resurface at the sight of blood). I thought I would clarify this before we started in case I accidentally make this part confusing when I write.

Do you want to start the thread or should I?

I don't think I'll be able to get the same length in posts as you, but I'll try to get somewhere close. If you have an issue with this tell me now and I understand. Just thought I'd make sure you were ok with that since we haven't started yet.

Hi!

I'm not sure how you want her to relate to Lyls. I'm thinking maybe she doesn't get along with Lylia at first? They both share a sense of "us against the Peacekeepers/Capitol" but this would probably not get communicated since your character has selective mutism and mine is just very shy/distrustful of new people.

they could see each other alot durring the night. and one of our characeters runs into the other. i dont know we could fiqure something out. i guess, but it says in my characters history that she does talk to people. seeing as for turning 12 she had to. so lylia could be one of the people that she talks to.
