So I made my character and this morning she was accepted. I am excited to start rp-ing but my character hasn't been moved to her District so I know that right now I can't. But when she does get moved to her District, then what?

Obviously I'll be allowed to use my character at that point but how would I start?

Hello there! You've done it right -- you can make an open thread and wait for someone to join you.

Other things you could do is go to the cBox on the left and ask anyone if he/she has a District 12 character and has time to RP with you. You could also think up of a plot (long, short, inclusive, one person, whatever) and post it in Character Plots (http://www.hungergamesrpg.com/index.cgi?board=characterplots) and see if anyone has time to join.
