The morning was crisp and clear, making the bright sun seem much brighter than usual. I was so tired my eyes squinted up at the light. The day had been normal, much to normal for me. The trees whistled with the little breeze. The salty smell of the sea was such a comforting smell at all times. My little sister, Kalani had to go do something or other with my parents, so I had the day to myself. I wanted to go back home, but something urged me further toward the beach, towards whatever was there. My eyes saw things much quicker than I could process them, and what I saw was a sight in itself.
I saw the beach, in all its frothy glory as the waves hit the shore with the force of a thousand tons. I ran, and stopped, dead in front of the water. The waves were getting frothy and violent. I was debating whether to go home or not, but I decided to stay.
