I kicked rock as I walked down Maim Street, right past my house.[/font] I completely ignored Lilian calling my name as I just kept on walking as though I didn't know. It made me feel a little bit bad that she was confused and I gave her the cold shoulder. But June took her inside and explained I had somewhere to be. That is exactly where I am going. Somewhere. I didn't even know why but someone where I can just escape and leave this polluted district behind. The only problem with that is he can't leave District 3. Everywhere he knew of there were others there or cars honking and people yelling. What a positive world. Some people called my name but I waved them off ad they let me be. My Frieda know when to leave me along. This is a perfect example of me being upset.
I wasn't exactly sure why I was so upset. There really wasn't anything I should be upset about. School was just as boring as always. My friends weren't being mean. Everything was going pretty smoothly today actually. Nothing for me really to be upset about. I am assuming it is just one of those 'ugh' sort of days when nothing is really wrong. If anyone asks it's just one of those blah days.
I passed threw the town square without a word. It seemed like all of my friends knew I was not in exactly an enjoyable mood. All of them except my darn sister. She's a bit of a care freak. Pandora always wants everyone to feel happy and welcome. That is especially hard when you have so many friends and family members. There is usually about one person in my family who isn't happy. My mother is the one but once the girls an myself come home she acts to be very happy to see us. Only Pandora and I could tell she was under the weather. We tell he to get out but she never.
She came up to me and bombarded me with the same question. I looked at her with that look of - 'What do you think.' Thankfully, Pandora's friend Bryn took her by the shoulder and her to leave me. I silently thanked her. Bryn smiled sympathetically at me.
Crossing Main to the next street over, I disappeared into an ally way. Good thing there were no peacekeepers around to stalk your every move. Even though it was light outside the shadows of the tall factories and buildings made it feel cold and dark. I popped up my hood and avoided puddles of, what I guess was water that was leaking from the factories.
If I was trying to get to my destination nowhere, I was going undercover. I crossed the ally way 4 blocks later where I saw a clearing. It had to be off limits since I have never seem it before. Ducking under the Private Property sign I collapsed onto the ground. Wrapping my arms around my legs I rested my chin on my knee caps just starring at nothing.
