Apparently, frying my skin down to a crisp is it's main objective. Evil sun. My skin is all red and itchy all over because of you. And I hate it. Oh, and I hate you too, you evil evil sun. It's like the huge star was placed diagonally in front of my face. Intentionally. Whoever placed that burning ball of light there has serious intentions of frying me, my face, and my whole being. For the thousandth time today, I sigh heavily and roll my eyes. My hair's dripping wet with sweat, my body feels hot all over and, the sun refuses to help despite my suffocating condition.
Training would be more interesting if we weren't doing the same thing over and over again. Once again, I sigh and roll my eyes. Everyone has memorized the routines already. Even if its only been, like, three days since we changed daily routines and exercises. Oh, and did I mention that it'd be a lot more fun if the sun wasn't so hot today? It's been bugging me for days. It wasn't this hot before. Well, just don't think about us training inside a building before going out to the fields, because that's the main reason the sun hasn't bothered me during training. "I just hope this ends before I get too much of a tan."
The field is big and grassy. It's almost twice the size of our district square. More like, one and a half, really. On one side there are training obstacles and equipments. We do our routines at the middle part of the field. There's a track surrounding whole field where we do our morning jogs and sprints. All sparring practices are done at the other side of the field, opposite the training grounds. A fence surrounds the whole training grounds, separating us from anything outside training.
Each one of us is assigned a sparring partner. Our trainer makes sure that both students are equally skilled at the sport they are going to practice. We're at the sparring grounds now, after conditioning our bodies for what lies ahead for the rest of the day. And by conditioning I mean 200m runs, twenty four 16-count warm-ups, and an hour, at least, on the treadmill. Our trainer has already assigned who's partnered with who and today, I get paired up with a pretty girl who has a peculiar looking nose. I can say that it suits her. I don't know if she's interested in any way as to what we were supposed to do but I can tell she doesn't chat a lot. I think she's called Aislyn? I'm not sure. I can't really pay attention because the heat is still killing me inside. Curse you, sun.
Come to think of it, I don't even know what sport we're going to spar. I'm not the good-natured, much less good-humored, type so I don't talk to strangers, not really. I think we've always been in separate groups because I don't know her. Or maybe I just can't remember her? I don't really care. I just have to ask what were partners for. But I don't want to bother. Seriously.
All I have to do is open my mouth and talk, I know, but my chapped lips are getting drier and drier by the second, and opening my mouth will not help me moisten my lips. So I just stand there, licking my lips as soon as they go dry again, and sigh. This is going to be a long hot day. Again.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
