Appearance:

Kellan is petite, with a wispy stature, and almost ghost like quality to her features. She walks slightly on her toes and her hands have an almost constant tremor to them.

She has milky skin, so pale it is nearly see through and large light blue eyes that seem to stare into the distance, lost in thought. Her hair is ice blonde and down to her lower back, usually kept in a ponytail or bun. Her limbs are long and thin, with hardly any muscle to speak of, and her feet are slightly to large for her body, turning her into a destructive klutz.

Her teeth are perfectly straight and white, but her nails and lips, their victims are another matter. Her nails are bitten as far down as they can be, and her lips are the most colourful part of her person because she chews on them so frequently.

Kellan usually wears dresses, because she hates the restricted movement pants cause. She has a thin metal bracelet on her wrist at all times, and always walks barefoot, even in the dead of winter.

Personality:

Kellan is soft spoken and shy, rarely lending her opinion to anything, non-medicine related. She is kind to an extreme and would be willing to do anything to help a person. Kellan is mature beyond her years, always truthful and very dependable.
She is the kind of person who is willing to trust anyone, no matter who they are or where they have come from, traits which make her the excellent doctor she will be.

Kellan is extremely smart and thoughtful, often slipping deep into her thoughts for hours at a time. In emergencies, she is calm, precise and swift. Flourishing under pressure is her strongest trait, being overly-trusting and at times downright gullible, her largest flaw.

Kellan likes to draw, usually sketches drawn from real life, of her patients, family or things she encounters in the medical clinic. She also likes to just sit at home and think. She despises summer, and the extreme heat it brings.

History:

Kellan was born to a small family in one of the poorer areas of district 6. Her father was exceptionally smart, especially pertaining to physical sciences. Her mother, was not quite as smart and ran the district's bakery, a building they lived next door to. When she was seven, her mother went insane, burnt down the bakery, killing three people inside at the time, including Kellan's brand new baby brother Tog, and herself.

Since then, Kellan's relationship with her father has been strained, to put it nicely. They rarely see each other, except at dinners and even then, there is hardly ever talk.

Where Kellan is most happy is at the medical clinic. She started volunteering there when she was ten, and showed amazing promise, compassion and brilliance at medicinal science. Because of her age, she cannot officially be a doctor, but she is pretty much as close as you can get at 14.

She has several friends at the clinic, some doctors, others long term patients, but doesn't really have any friends at school, because she doesn't really get along with people her age. Like everyone, she is scared of the Hunger Games, but doesn't really hate the Capitol, because she doesn't really hate anybody.
