Age: 13

District/Area: District 8
Appearance:
Cayne used to be invisible. That one person in the hallway of school that passed you every day. At age ten, Cayne was already annoyed at the fact of his invisibility. So one day, he took the bleach from his mother's "OCD closet" and bleached his hair. Now, he was infamously popular.Personality:
At age 13, Cayne was a regular District 8 boy: brown eyes, anorexic-looking, little muscle, malnourished, etc. But three things had taken away from this unoriginal look: his horrible rash on his head cause by bleach, his white hair at the age of 13, and his homemade piercings in his ear that stems of flowers were twisted and put in.
His sort of fashion fit in with his awkward scrawnyness and lack of muscle. He wore flower stems as ear rings instead of the expensive real jewerly, his t-shirts made up of rags sewn together, his baggy pants seemingly painted with grass and dirt stains. It's ok though, Cayne liked the grass and dirt stains, it matched his flower stem ear rings.
When it comes to the Arena, Cayne seems like the perfect victim for a bloodbath. He's scrawny, tiny - 5' 1" and 87 pounds -, and carefully quiet. But despite his looks, he has a few tricks up his sleeves. His mother and father both work in the textile production company, so his mother passed on the trade of sewing to him. Cayne now has fast, nimble fingers, and works well with sharp things. His dad has a homemade dart board that he throws knives and needles at, so Cayne decides to always play "darts" with his father, giving him near perfect aim with almost any weapon.
Cayne happens to keep to himself. Every emotion he has is usually locked up inside himself, keeping him emotionally unstable. Cayne pushes his anger away, afraid of starting fights he can't win, and he pushes his love away also, afraid of rejection. His tears are absorbed by the fact that Cayne does not like to look vulnerable. His happiness is stolen away from him every time he thinks of his life. All of this gives him random outbursts of emotions that make him EXTREMELY unpopular.History:
Ignoring all of this emotional unstability, Cayne is a good guy. Around his few true friends, he's caring, giddy, upbeat, sarcastic, witty, and friendly. Around everybody else, he's shy and introverted. His true friends are aware of his random oubursts of emotions, but they accept him the way he is. They, besides his family, might be the only happy thing in his life.
With all the emotions Cayne has, the Hunger Games, if he is ever reaped, he's ready. He is paranoid up to the point that he will always be aware of betrayal and backstabbings. He is angry enough to kill despite his innocent, fragile facade. He's scared enough to be defensive of himself and will never get too attatched to any person in the games. Cayne is ready to survive.
Cayne was unshockingly born and raised in District 8 with his mother, father, and older sister. His mother, Renee Ivelese, is 32 years old and has always worked in the textile production company, despite being a woman. Cayne's dad, James Ivelese, is 33 and was called for the Hunger Games in a reaping at the age of 15, only to be replaced by his brother's volunteering. His brother had died in the arena for him. Cayne's sister was born 3 years ahead of him, and when Cayne was nine, his sister was reaped and lost in the Hunger Games, leaving his family shell-shocked for a while. In this period of time, the only way the family could survive was to have Cayne learn how to sew and make his own clothes while his mother sat in the house afraid and his father worked nonstop.Codeword: Odair
Now at the age of 13, the family is doing fine, especially since Cayne has signed up for tesserae. He hasn't been reaped yet luckily, especially since he has no family to volunteer to take his place. His mother and father both deeply hate the fact that he is signed up for tesserae, but Cayne doesn't care, for it's his choice and it's his way of taking care of his family.
School hasn't ever been big for him. Cayne isn't really a brainiac; Cayne likes to study about different animals and different types of plants that make threads and things, but other than that, Cayne despises school just like any other teenage boy in District 8 would. He is fairly brainwashed by his class about the Hunger Games and it's history, but still hates that as well. His opinion on the games: the odds may never be in your favor.
