Alto Vet D4 (Finished)

Alto's face is that of kindness, but also firmness. His hair is about medium length and curly. A dark shade, but you can still see a brown color. It's not completely black. For facial hair, that started growing early compared to most, he has a visible full beard but likes to keep it at a short lenth. A little longer than a 5 'oclock shadow. A long and stable jaw line, making his face look thin. A lot of people mistake him for being older. Gauging him to be in his 20s, when in reality he's only 17.

On the subject of his body, it's very well in shape. His parents have had him in tribute training since his 12th birthday. But the way he sees it, it's more of a way to stay in shape than training for the games. He can easily lift 110 pounds with one arm. However, he isnt burly. At 6' even and 170 pounds he has a very average body size. But as you might initially think he is an imbodyment of perfection. He is not. Having a very large scar that runs fron the top of his right pectoral to just past the left side of his navel. As well as a scar that cuts his left eybrow in half, coming onto his eyelid a bit. Also, for his last bithday, he went and got a tattoo. A black and red tribal dragon that runs from his shoulder to the middle of his forearm. Wrapping around the arm on the way down.

Alto is kind, but it isn't an outward kindness. He is more of the type to help you when you aren't around. Leaving a note from an anonymous sender. He isn't a fan of showing emotions publicly. He feels it makes him seem weak or vulnerable. His biggest fear is for someone to actually see this weakness and pierce his wall of self-confidence. Which in turn, helps them to get closer to hurting his daughter.

Alto is stern, but more in the way that is self respect than a way that is disrespectful to others. He is that way, basically, to give off an outward appearance that is stable and invulnerable. When in reality, he often has break downs when he's alone. They aren't anything serious usually. He has only had one of those; when his daughter's mother was reaped and killed at the very begining. He even goes as far as to shield his insecurities from his 1 year old daughter, in fear that she will grown up thinking her father was weak and unfit to raise her.

Yes, Alto lives in a career district. However, he despises everything about being one and also anyone that is one. Finding them seriously morally corrupt. But, in truth, Alto himself was a die hard career when his girlfriend was still alive and with him in the district. However, doing a complete 180 for best intrest in his daughter. He now uses the training to help him stay in the best of shape, to be able to protect his daughter. So in short, he's a career turned anti-career thanks to a horrible turn of events. Trying to seem like nothing ever effected him though, on the outside.

Signifigant history with Alto starts with his first scar. He got it diving off of the biggest rock in his town when he was 13, hitting another rock hidden under the water. It caused him to have a concussion that lead to amnesia. From that, he lost all memory prior to this event basically having to re-learn all the basic motor skills. Never recovering many memories. He was still young when this happened, so it was relatively easy returning to "almost" normal within a year.

By his 14th birthday though, his mother was very sick and was close to death. Only living for another couple months. This event caused his father to become a drunk. An extremely violent one at that. Alto began staying at friend's houses more often. He was still in tribute training, and this is where his next scar comes from. One day while training with weapons, his sparring partner happened to catch him with his sword and cuthis torso from top right corner to bottom left. The wound would never fully heal and became a very visible scar.

Now he was 15 and since he was out more than in, he ended up meeting and falling in love with a girl, Niah Thomas. Sadly, when you're young and have feelings for another you usually express it physically. So one night, when Niah's parents were out, they acted on these feelings. Thinking nothing of the consequences. Sure enough, 9 months later, little Niah(jr) was born.

Even worse though, Alto's companion was then called at a reaping soon after. He thought he would end up having to fight her parents for the baby, but they were more than willing. Saying the child was unpure and they were disgraced by it. He was more than prepared to take on this task and got a part-time job fishing. He eventually made enough money to buy a small house and that is where he and little Niah have lived for a year since.
