Coming in from the shadows

Hi! I'm new not just to this forum but to Proboards itself - however I have been roleplaying on other boards for about three years and two thirds of one. My name's Tara, and I'm quite fond of many fandoms, The Hunger Games taking the top spot. My username comes from the latin word that means 'darkness' and 'night', inspired by the fact that of all the book/film series' I've read and watched I'm fond of the bad guys.
Outside of fiction, I'm really into my music, and playing video games. Only the other day I just got enrolled into college, which is starting on Tuesday. :-)
This is going to be a bit of an experiment for me in a way as I'm going to try out writing in the first person to see if I prefer it to third.
