Hey, there. Sort of new, still reading up on old and current threads to get the hang of things.

I had a question about the BloodBath. Is it possible for a character to just run their butt off in an attempt to get items (risking attack from others, of course), or MUST we attempt to attack people first? Basically, could I run in, try to snatch up supplies, and haul ass out of there? (Obviously, people would probably try to stop me, but I'm just wondering rule-wise.)

And another question regarding the Cornucopia. I've seen rules that once you leave the bloodbath, you can't come back, but would one be able to, theoretically, come back afterwards, perhaps even days later, to try and get whatever supplies were left behind?

Nope, unfortunately the only way to get items is to attack. It's the fairest way, and the way that encourages the most fighting; if we just let people run in and get items, the majority would do that and there would be little to no fighting in the Bloodbath. You're welcome to post an intro and then flee in your next post, but obviously you wouldn't be getting items so that isn't advisable.

And yes, the rule is once you leave the Bloodbath you can't come back, but after that the Cornucopia becomes just another area for the rest of the Games that you can go to whenever you want. However, there would be no supplies left behind; the last alliance standing in the bloodbath receives the wealth of items left over, so it's all theirs, just like the Careers in the book.
