Admeta stormed out of the Training Center, her pack slung over her shoulder, her grey tank top dotted with sweat. The Training wasn't as tough as it usually was, because her brother was teaching the newbie Careers. She was stuck with one of the older Career trainers, who too it easy on everyone, and she was furious. She wished that she had had her brother, because he pushed her and made her sweat buckets, and he helped her with her mixed martial arts and double sword skills. But this trainer just made her hit a punching bag until the three hours were up. She almost screamed and used the trainer as the punching bag, but she kept her cool and just fired her punches harder and harder until the punching bag flew off of the chain.
She sat outside of the building, her anger almost making smoke fly out of her ears. She was better than that trainer, and she knew it. She let her hair down and flipped it, and watching the red streaks fly across her face, she sighed and stood up, letting herself cool down. Her thoughts flickered around her brain, and the darkness subsided as she walked to her house, which was close to the Training Center, about three blocks. The short walk helped her.
As she stood on her porch, looking over the hustle and bustle of the middle of District One, she smiled and sat on a chair that was near the front door, waiting for her brother to come home. With a bottle of water from her pack in her hand, she took slow sips, letting the water hydrate her. The sun was still well up, and it was about three o'clock in the afternoon. With the hot sun tanning her shoulders, she let her close guard down, letting the cold water and the hot sun fill her until she was relaxed. But she felt a pair of eyes watching her. They caused her to sit up a little and look around, ready for a fight.
