Ashlinn had been watching the group for a while from under her hat. She knew all of them, though some better than others. They seemed to have lots of fun, though the girl with the pink bikini top-luckily it was on again- was a little to much over the top for Ashlinns likings. Sighing, she put suncream on her body once more, for what felt like the thousandth time. She hated the fact that she had a pale skin, which always kept her from lying on the beach totally relaxed, without having to pay attention to anything. That, and the fact that she stubbornly just didn't want to 'follow' the group, were the only things that still kept her from approaching he teenagers. True, she didn't like meeting up new people so much, but these people she partly knew already, and they seemed nice.
Oh, screw my skin! Ashlinn thought, knowing that in the evening, she would be regretting this thought so much she wished she had just remaind were she was and that her skin would really be screwed. Looking at the group of people and the beautiful sea she loved so much, Ashlinn took her sunglasses off, showing her shiny light blue eyes, and put them on her hat.
It was amazing how that little walk could make Ashlinn feel like she had walked ages, not to mention the fact that she was feeling her skin burn already. She felt a sudden urgue to complain about the hotness, but made up her mind just a few seconds before opening her mouth. Raising one eyebrow, she instead said "Well, I didn't expect boys to hate pink bikini tops that much."
Ashlinn smiled slightly as she looked back at the group, especially at the now-luckily- fully dressed girl. It looked funny how everyone stood there, silhouettes against the blue sea and for one moment Ashlinn thought about how this group would make the perfect photograph, she would then call 'collecting sea shells and pink bikini tops'. Ashlinns smile became bigger as she thought about what others, who hadn't been watching the whole scene, would think of the title she just gave to the setting.
