Of course I'd be here, sitting watching the Careers playing or "training" on the beach. Doesn't really matter what they're doing as long as those shirts are off and I get to watch. The little shanty eatery I was sitting in was covered with a good coat of sand on the floor, but the food was delicious and I'd already done my fair share of swimming and running so I was starving. I stay in shape, don't get me wrong, but there's no need for me to train for the games. I know if I get reaped and I don't want to go there's pleanty of other girls that would rip each others hair out to make it to the stage.
Me, I was better than that. I didn't need to go show off in front of the Capitol, or slice and dice other kids to get attention. All I had to do was walk in. Ever since I was able to talk, people would pay attention to me. Hell mom normally says when I walk in my personality is so big it sucks out the air for everyone else. HA! Like that bothered me. I knew that being the center of attention was for the best, and I was the best.
Scanning the crowd I saw the one that I'd been looking for. He'd been rising through the ranks of the careers, the girls talking about how good looking he was, and the boys jealous of his talents. Taking a sip of the cool water and a bite of the sandwich in front of me, I watch him. His smoothe movements as he went through the routine, of course I wasn't the only one watching. The girls a few seats over were giggling and pointing. Such amatures. I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes.
Sure there were other good looking guys out there, and I bet if I walked across the beach in my pink bikini top and itty bitty black shorts I'd have a good trail of them crawling after me. With a smirk I scanned the Careers again, there was another larger one on the other side of the beach, he wasn't too bad either. It was his sheer size that caught my attention. He looked like he could throw a boulder from one end of the beach to the other. You know, maybe playing a little with both of them could be fun...
Taking another bite, and then tossing the crummy sandwich out I stood up smoothing my shorts and making sure there were no crumbs hidden my top, I started out to the beach. My hips wiggled the way only a girl with my curves would know how. The look on my face said I owned the place. Warm sand slid up between my feet and my flip flops as I headed towards Beck. I'd start with him, he seemed the bigger challenge. Sending a sideways glance to the taller boy I made sure he got an eyeful. Girls like me, we like to have fun, and there is nothing more fun than having two big strong guys competing for your attention.
Getting closer to Beck and his throng of followers I purred, "I wouldn't be surprised if its your year. Someone like you, you're fun to watch." With that I shook my hair out of the ponytail I had it piled in and headed towards the water.
